sutek spaghetti house
수택 스파게티하우스 Sutaek Seupageti Hauseu Sutaek (手沢) is an old word for the sheen an object takes on from long handling; the shop writes it in kanji on its Instagram, and no post explains why it chose the name.

A Japanese-Western (yoshoku) diner on the second floor of a building on a side street off Seogyo-dong crossroads, between Hapjeong and Hongik Univ. stations, above a Korean set-meal place called Teotbat. The cafe Sutaek across the road spun off its food side into this space on 7 July 2026. The menu centres on Napolitan spaghetti (14,000 won) and omurice (13,500-15,000 won), plus a lunch plate of chicken nanban, Napolitan and salad (16,000 won). You order by QR code at the table. We read 30 posts from 20 July to 14 October 2026; 11 were drain-cleaning or medical spam and were set aside, leaving 19 visit posts. The cafe Sutaek is a separate place, and we did not count anything posts said about it.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Instead of water, the table gets tea. Six posts mention it; three name jasmine, and one couldn't place it but kept drinking it.
- Ordering is by QR code at the table, in six posts. One says it is Toss QR, another that you pay up front. Two found the small English-only table menu hard to read and suggested using the QR menu.
- Seating is varied: six posts describe two-tops, four-tops, window sofas and a solo bar counter. Four said it is roomier than the old Sutaek cafe, and two mention window seats.
- Of seven posts that said when they went, six walked straight in: Sunday around 5 pm, Friday at 5 pm, a weekday just before 6 pm, opening day around 6 pm, a weekday afternoon, and a weekend lunch. One found seats at 11:45 on a weekday, but a queue began after noon. One post notes that if you miss your call by five minutes, your place is cancelled.

There is no parking of its own; two posts said so from experience and two more in copied info blocks. Two pointed to the nearby Kakao T Seogyo-dong lot, at 3,000 won per 20 minutes or 9,000 won an hour.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 5 of 15 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 5 (of 15 posts read) |
| Separate restrooms | 1 of 15 posts |
The restaurant is upstairs, on the second floor, per five posts; one says to look for Teotbat on the ground floor. One post says the toilets are separate for men and women, by the stairs going down to the ground floor.
No post says whether there is a lift to the second floor, a step at the door, or room for a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one. One post came with a child but said nothing about a stroller.
Whether the toilet is inside the restaurant is unclear: one post places it by the stairwell, which may be outside the door.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Only one post differs on price: the opening-day post had the sizzling cheese Napolitan at 16,000 won and the nanban omurice at 14,000 won, while posts from late July and September say 16,500 and 15,000. We can't tell whether prices rose or it was a slip. That post also called the prices reasonable for the Hongdae area.
- Two posts found it salty (the lunch plate, and the nanban omurice with its layered sauces); one found the seasoning just right.
- Portions split one to one: one post called them generous, another wished there were more chicken nanban. A third said it had read complaints but found the size just right, and one noted the lunch plate's rice and soup are tiny.
- All five posts that list hours give 11:30-20:20, a break from 15:30 to 17:00, and last orders at 14:30 (19:20 in the evening), but every one is copied from a listing. Closing days disagree: two July posts say closed Mondays, a single October post says open daily. The menu calls the lunch plate weekdays only, yet two posts had it on a weekend. Check before you go.
- The phone number (0507-1474-3337) appears in one copied info block only, and no post says whether the restaurant takes calls or reservations. One post describes on-site waitlisting.
