A large bakery café on the ground floor of a building on Hongik-ro 5-gil, a short walk from Exit 9 of Hongik University Station. You pick pastries from the counter, pay with your drink, and wait at your seat for a buzzer. The signature is kouign-amann: of 23 visit posts, 6 ordered one and 10 ordered an americano. Listed prices are ₩5,500 for an americano, ₩6,800 for a mugwort latte, ₩7,100 for the brownie or an apple-cinnamon kouign-amann, and ₩7,500 for an ade. Go early: several people who arrived between 6:30 and 8 pm found the bakery shelves nearly empty. - Accounts of the noise level differ: 3 posts found it quiet enough for conversation, while one was surprised to find it packed on a weekday afternoon and another watched it fill up soon after arriving.
