Okdon Hongdae is an aged-pork barbecue house on the ground floor of 99 Yanghwa-ro, between Hapjeong and Hongik University stations. A robot in the corner pre-sears the meat, then staff grill it the rest of the way at your table. Three posts give pork belly at 18,000 won a portion, and four give the A set (belly, neck and neck-edge cut) at 52,000 won. Kimchi stew comes free with a meat order, and at lunch there are set meals such as grilled pork (12,000 won) and soft-tofu stew (9,000 won). What sets it apart
- You don't grill your own meat. Of 30 posts, 25 say staff cooked it at the table and 24 say it arrived already pre-seared. Several describe the neck going on first and finished pieces being moved to the edge of the grill. One post notes the jowl comes out without the pre-sear, another that the neck-edge cut went straight onto the grill, and one felt the pre-sear left the meat less cooked than expected.

Two posts note from their own visit that the restaurant is on the ground floor; none mention stairs or a basement.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pram gets in. That isn't a no; nobody wrote about it.
Three posts say from experience that the toilets are separate for men and women, and two that they are inside the restaurant; one places them down an inner corridor, and three mention disposable mouthwash by the toilets.

What we do not know
- No post says they had to wait. Six mention a waiting bench out front, and some describe the room nearly full around 6 pm, packed on a weekday evening, or full of office workers at lunch. That doesn't mean there is never a queue; nobody wrote that they stood in one.
- No post calls it expensive, and five say the prices are fair. The cold-noodle price disagrees: 7,000 won in one post, 8,000 in two, 9,000 in two, with two posts from the same day, 10 July 2026, giving 7,000 and 9,000. Most posts got the kimchi stew free, but one paid 9,000 won for it separately.
- All opening hours are copied from listings. Sixteen posts give weekdays 11:00-22:00 and fourteen give weekends 12:00-22:00, with a weekday break from 14:30 to 16:30 and last orders at 21:30. Four posts differ: one says it opens at noon every day, two say 11:00 every day, one says 11:00 at weekends. One post says there is no regular closing day.
- Ten posts copy the phone number 0507-1471-5254; one sponsored post gives 0503-7153-1823 instead. Many posts copy that Naver booking is available; one, a company dinner, actually booked the group room.
- Much of what's written reads as promotion. Three posts disclose sponsorship, two say they paid themselves, and the other 25 say nothing.
