A bakery café in the basement of Hongik-ro 17, near Hongik University station, serving einspänners and lattes at 5,000-7,500 won alongside croissants and cakes (strawberry cake, tiramisu, Basque cheesecake). We read 9 posts from December 2025 to August 2026; after removing 2 about other places, 7 describe a visit. Posts from December 2025 onward call it newly opened.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts call it clean; two singled out a clean restroom. One noted the pastry display has no covers, which may bother hygiene-conscious visitors.
- One post describes a room with a door you can close for private conversation. Two posts call the space large.
- One post says the central seats among the plants have no backrests and were left empty; the same writer was asked to move when a party of four arrived, and says they had not been told about this when ordering. One other post found the staff kind.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Five posts note it is underground. Impressions differ: one found it bright despite being below ground and another noticed no basement mustiness, but a third felt shut in because there are no windows. A February 2026 post mentioned a fairly strong smell of fresh paint.
Two posts walked down stairs, and one could not remember whether the lift goes to the basement. No one mentioned a step at the door or wheelchair or stroller access; we don't know.
One post places the restroom inside, around the side of the counter. Whether it is split by gender or accessible, no one said.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Only one post describes waiting: no queue at 4 p.m. on a weekend, nearly full half an hour later. Another had to sit on backless seats first because no table was free. We know nothing about other times.
- Two posts walked from the station but name different exits: one says five minutes from exit 1 of Hongik University station, the other describes a route from exit 9, past the Apple store, to the ABC-Mart building.
- Six posts give the same opening hours, 10:00-22:00 and closed Mondays, but all copied them from listings rather than observed them.
- Drinks were 5,000-7,500 won and desserts 5,000-8,000 won. Only the milk tea latte differs: 6,000 won in two posts, 6,500 in one.
- Three posts give the same phone number, 070-5066-3787. Reservations appear only in one copied listing; no one booked.
