멧커피 Met Keopi MET is simply the English letters on the sign; the place was called MET Lounge until early 2025, and one blogger guessed it reads as 'met coffee' — the house itself gives no meaning.

Met Coffee's Hongdae branch is a café on a side street between Hapjeong and Hongik University stations. It uses the ground and third floors, and you order coffee and Austrian-style pastries such as apfelstrudel at a kiosk. As of a July 2026 post, an americano was 5,300 won, a matcha einspänner 6,500 won and a strawberry cake slice 7,500 won; an August 2025 post had the matcha cream coffee at 7,900 won. A December 2024 post called it MET Lounge; posts from February 2025 on call it Met Coffee. The third floor is reached by an elevator outside the building; 7 posts mention it, and one thought the third floor is elevator-only. You order and collect at the ground floor, and two posts say drinks going upstairs come in reusable cups for safety. Two posts say you can order through Naver from the third floor and pick up downstairs.
No post describes entering with a wheelchair or stroller. One post says the ground-floor order area is half a flight up. Seven posts mention the elevator to the third floor, but nobody says how to get past the step at the ground-floor entrance. Eight posts sat on the ground floor; no basement seating comes up.
Five posts say the restroom is inside. Two say it differs by floor: separate men's and women's rooms on the ground floor, a shared one on the third floor that one post describes as outdoors.

What we do not know
- No post mentions queuing. One thought there would be no wait given all the third-floor tables, but the same post said the drinks took a very long time. That means nobody wrote about a line, not that there never is one.
- All opening hours in the posts are copied from listings. Eight posts from February 2025 to June 2026 give 11:00–22:00 daily (last order 21:30); a July 30, 2026 post gives a noon opening, and two posts from August and September 2026 give 12:00–22:00 Monday to Wednesday and 11:00–22:00 Thursday to Sunday. One September 12, 2026 post still lists 11:00–22:00. Check before you go.
