꾸감 Kkugam Ggugam is a contraction of 꾸운 통감자, a playful spelling of 'baked whole potato' — the shop bakes whole russet potatoes and piles toppings on them.

Kkugam sits on the ground floor of 44 Wausan-ro 23-gil in Mapo, Seoul, down a side street from exit 9 of Hongik University station. It bakes whole russet potatoes, splits them, and piles on sauce, cheese and toppings. The plain base is 4,900 won; the house combinations ('picks') were mostly 7,900 won through September, and from mid-October posts begin saying every pick costs 8,900 won. You order at a kiosk and get the potato in a divided paper box with a slaw or corn salad and pickles or jalapeños. You can eat in, but more posts took it away. We read 30 posts dated 12 August to 26 October 2026; 29 describe an actual visit and one is the shop's own pop-up announcement. Three disclose sponsorship or a review campaign and one says the writer paid; the rest say nothing, and many of them repeat the shop's promotional copy word for word.

What sets it apart
- This is mostly a takeaway place: 21 posts took their potato with them, and several reported how it travelled. One walked 20 minutes to the office and found it still hot; another reheated it for 30 seconds in a microwave; a third recommends ten minutes in an air fryer at 160°C to get the cheese stretchy again. One post said the lid didn't fit the box and had to be held shut by hand.
- There is seating inside — 20 posts said so. Two mention two- and four-person tables, and one says there are plenty of single tables; red chairs and booths with green checkerboard tiles come up again and again. One post called the room small, and one from 26 September couldn't get a seat because a group had filled the place, so took it away.

Getting inside
No post described the floor from experience. The address says ground floor and several posts repeat it; one wrote 'let's go up into the shop', but it's unclear whether that means stairs.
Nobody said whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. One post said the entrance looks narrow though there's room inside, and another described the front as a corridor.
No post mentions a toilet; we don't know whether there is one inside or whether it is split by gender.

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The price of the picks depends on when the post was written. Up to 12 October most were 7,900 won, with only the Brooklyn barbecue and Manhattan steak at 8,900. Five posts from 18 October say every pick is 8,900 won, and two of them actually paid that. But three posts from 20, 23 and 25 October still copy a menu with 7,900-won items, so we can't pin down exactly when the price changed.
- The opening hours changed. Six posts up to 18 September say 10:00–21:00 daily with no closing day; seventeen from 17 September on say 11:00–21:00 daily. Ten give last orders at 20:30 and one at 20:40. One post alone says 11:00–01:00 with last orders at 23:00, which matches nothing else. All of these are copied from listing blocks, and only the pre-mid-September posts mention having no day off.
- Only one post mentions waiting: on a weekday around 11:30 there was no queue at all. Nobody reported on peak lunch or dinner times — that means we don't know, not that there is no line. One post noted a steady stream of customers at the outdoor kiosk.
- Company is too scattered to say: one post went with a friend, one dropped in on a date, one took it home to share with family, and the rest don't say.
- Most posts give the phone number as 0507-1340-1658; two give 02-322-3221. Nobody said whether you can book by phone.
- Most posts repeat the same promotional lines in the same order — 'made with sincerity for baked whole potatoes', toppings 'cascading like a waterfall', a list of uses from picnics to school sports days. Only three disclose sponsorship, but many read like commissioned copy. We treated phrases such as 'reasonable prices' and 'quick to enjoy' inside that copy as borrowed and didn't count them.
