A griddle-octopus restaurant at 136-5 Eoulmadang-ro, near exit 8 of Hongik University Station. The base order is octopus with water parsley and steamed egg (12,900 won a portion, two-portion minimum); you add toppings such as pork belly, beef intestine, shrimp or cheese and choose one of three heat levels. Posts that listed a bill for two with toppings and fried rice paid 32,800, 39,800 and 40,800 won. Fifteen posts say staff cooked it at the table. What sets it apart
- You don't cook it yourself. Fifteen of the 21 visit posts say staff handled the griddle, cut up the octopus and shrimp heads, and told them when it was ready. One put the cooking at about five to ten minutes; another was told 'not yet!' when peeking too early.
- Three heat levels: level 1 is benchmarked to Jin Ramen Spicy, level 2 to 'a bit milder than Buldak', level 3 is 'very hot'. Ten posts found it spicy, three did not. One diner on level 1 still found it hot; one on level 3 said it was milder than expected but too salty. A level-2 diner who found it fiery suggests piling in extra bean sprouts from the self-serve bar.
- Perilla leaves, laver, pickled radish, bean sprouts, flying-fish roe and a garlic mayonnaise come with the meal, and you top up from a self-serve bar; twelve posts say so. Two mention hair ties and toothpicks at the bar, and one saw staff wiping it down. The garlic mayo is singled out again and again.
- The front is folding doors and large windows, so when open it feels like street-side seating. Six posts mention the windows or window seats, five a terrace or outdoor tables. One arrived at 5:30 pm to find the window seats already taken; another booked and got a window table further in. There are also a few four-person tables tucked inside.

The registered address says floor 1.5; four visit posts describe the shop as on the second floor, and three mention climbing stairs to it. No one described going down to a basement.
We don't know whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in, or whether there is a lift; nobody wrote about it. Three posts only mention taking the stairs.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside or split by gender. No visitor described it; one post copied 'separate men's and women's toilets' from a facilities list.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 23 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Waiting varies. Two posts saw a queue on a weekday evening, one describing people crowding outside; three walked straight in (one at 12:30 on a weekday, two on weekday evenings); one waited about a minute at 8:30 pm. Both posts that saw a queue had booked and were seated at once, and six posts in all booked through Naver.
- It's close to the station: eight posts say it's an easy walk from exit 8 of Hongik University Station, three to five minutes. Nobody wrote about getting there by bus.
- Sixteen posts give the same hours, 11:00 to midnight every day, but all of them are copied listings. The earliest post (23 Aug 2026) had it closed on Mondays; from 31 Aug the posts say every day, so the Monday closure seems to have been dropped in between. One copied listing says there is no afternoon break.
- Prices are as of September 2026. One 31 Aug post listed the base portion at 11,900 won while posts from 10 Sep on say 12,900; with only one post we can't tell if it went up. Two-person octopus-and-pork orders were written as 31,800 and 37,800 won. One post, a disclosed sponsorship, called the prices easy on the wallet.
- Six posts copy the phone number 0507-1341-3801, and six booked through Naver; one says a Naver booking earned a free fried rice.
- All 23 posts fall between late August and early October 2026, during the opening promotion, and the same hours-and-parking lines repeat word for word across many of them. Only three disclose sponsorship or a hosted visit, but commissioned posts are likely in the mix. Companions: a partner or spouse in five posts, friends in four.
