HEYTEA
헤이티 홍대점 Heiti Hongdae-jeom HEYTEA is the coined brand name of a Chinese tea chain that, the posts say, began in 2012; Hongdae-jeom simply means the Hongdae branch.

HEYTEA Hongdae is a branch of the Chinese tea chain on the ground floor of 122-1 Eoulmadang-ro, Mapo-gu. You order fruit teas and milk teas — coconut mango boom (6,400 won in August 2025), mango red grapefruit sago (6,900 won in October 2026), the mango coconut sticky rice launched in October 2026 (7,900 won) — at the counter or in the app, collect from a separate pickup line, and mostly take it away. We read 30 posts from 18 November 2024 to 24 October 2026; 21 are from people who went and bought a drink. Three only introduce the place or turned back at the line, and six were about stores in China, Singapore or Myeongdong, or other businesses in the same building, so we left them out.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There are separate order and pickup lines, and you wait. Eight posts mention a line or a wait; the times they give are 15 minutes, 15–20 minutes, 20 minutes, and 25–30 minutes from ordering to pickup on a Saturday evening, plus one 'under 10 minutes'. During the October 2026 Lisa buy-one-get-one launch, one writer queued 15 minutes at 4:30 pm on a Thursday, was told pickup would take about two hours, and ended up waiting 50 minutes in all. Two other posts, from a weekday afternoon and a weekday at 5 pm, said the line moved quickly. Several writers advise pre-ordering in the app.
- The shop is small. Six posts said it is cramped or not roomy; no visitor called it spacious. Six said there is somewhere to sit — 'about three tables and a long sofa', 'three or four tables' — while one said there was hardly anywhere to sit. Three mention outdoor seats, one adding that they work more as a waiting area than a place to drink. Three mention chairs inside for waiting. In July 2026 one writer found no indoor seat and went to another café (not counted as a visit).
- Price comes up again and again. Six posts called it expensive — 'if only it weren't so pricey', 'the prices are above average too (sorry, wallet)', and of the 7,900-won new drink, 'maybe pricier than a meal'. One writer ranked HEYTEA last of four brands on value for volume. Three posts mention app sign-up coupons (1,000 won off orders over 10,000 won), and one says bringing your own tumbler takes 500 won off.
- Five posts are by people going back — one went two days running, another had been 'last week too', a third titled hers 'HEYTEA again'.
1 more
- Three posts noticed many foreign customers — 'more than half seemed to be foreigners', 'lots of Chinese students' — and one mentions a Chinese-language menu.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
1 posts say it is walkable from the station.
Getting inside
No visitor described which floor the shop is on; the '1st floor' in the address is copied. Posts about other businesses say they occupy the 2nd and 3rd floors of the same building.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is a problem.
No post mentions a toilet, inside the shop or otherwise.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Only one post describes getting there from the station (exit 9 of Hongik Univ. Station is quickest). The 'five minutes from exit 9' in other posts is copied listing info, so we did not count it.
- Seven posts went with friends, two with family, one with a spouse, one alone, one with a group; one brought children.
- Ten posts give the same opening hours, 11:00 to 24:00, seven of them saying 'daily' — but all are copied listing info, and nobody mentions a break, last order or closing day.
- The only drink prices visitors gave are coconut mango boom at 6,400 won (August 2025), and mango red grapefruit sago at 6,900 won and mango coconut sticky rice at 7,900 won (both October 2026). No visitor listed the full menu; the '6,400 to 7,900 won' range comes from a post that scraped reviews, so we did not rely on it.
- Three posts give the same phone number, 0507-1440-1536. Nobody says whether you can reserve; instead many suggest pre-ordering in the app and just picking up.
- One November 2024 post disclosed free products from the business, and one December 2024 post opens by saying it was asked for an honest review. Nine said they paid themselves; the rest say nothing.
