Cafe Gongmyeong Hongdae is a bakery cafe filling three floors of a red-brick house on an alley off Wausan-ro 17-gil, between Sangsu station and Hongdae. You pick pastries onto a plate on the ground floor, pay with your drink, and sit indoors on the second floor, on the ground-floor terrace or on the third-floor rooftop. The registered address lists a basement level, but no post mentions one. Three posts say they ordered on the ground floor.
No post says whether there is a step at the door, whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in, or whether there is a lift. Much of the seating is upstairs and one post calls the rooftop stairs steep, so expect stairs — but that is all we know.
Five posts say the toilet is inside the cafe, four of them on the second floor. One adds that men's and women's are separate, with two stalls. One post instead says there are toilets on each floor.

Of the 20 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post mentions waiting for a seat. One says it was busy but they found a table; another found the chocolate choux sold out by evening. We don't know about weekend waits.
- Ten posts give the same opening hours — daily 10:00–22:00, last order 21:30 — but all of them copy the listing header. No post mentions a closing day.
- We only have item prices. One couple's order — three biscuit choux, a chocolate-forest scone, a Gongmyeong latte and an iced americano — adds up to 33,300 won. The chocolate-forest scone appears at 6,800 won in one post and 6,500 won in another. The 50% takeaway-drink discount is seen on a poster in one post; the others copy it from promotional text.
- Five posts give the phone number 0507-1338-6304 (the Yeonnam branch's differs by one digit: 0507-1337-6304). No post says whether reservations are taken.
- Six posts repeat nearly the same lines — 'Korea's Tsutaya', a pastry chef baking every morning, French butter, an in-house roastery. Only two disclose sponsorship. We treat these as the cafe's own copy and did not count them.
- Gongmyeong has several branches, and six posts tagged as 'Hongdae' were really about the Yeonnam branch on Yeonhui-ro. We left their prices, parking and toilet notes out.
