Gobongdang's Hongdae branch is a stone-plate back-rib house in a basement on Eoulmadang-ro, beside the busking street near Hongik Univ. Station exit 8. The ribs arrive fully cooked on a hot stone plate (kimchi-braised or glazed 17,000 won, with a mound of cheese 19,000 won), usually alongside a fried 'slime' injeolmi rice cake (13,000 won) and clam soup, and the leftover sauce becomes fried rice. Two posts say it opened in June 2026. We read 30 posts from 13 August to 26 October 2026; 26 describe an actual meal. One was about the Yongsan branch and was set aside.

- The corridor from the street door to the stairs doubles as a waiting area; ten posts mention seats there. One notes cushions and wind shielding, another bottled water set out on a hot day, another a sign-up board for names.

It is below street level. Ten posts describe walking past the waiting area and down a stair; two say it is only about half a floor down. One warns the street entrance is small and easy to miss.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access. Several posts mention stairs down; none mention a lift, ramp or step at the door — which means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
Three posts say the restroom is inside the restaurant. No one said whether it is split by gender.

Of the 25 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours: eighteen posts give noon to 11 p.m. daily, mostly copied from the listing; two say no days off. The afternoon break is disputed — two posts say there is none, one says weekdays 3:00-4:30 p.m.
- Prices come from August-September 2026 posts. Two people paid under 50,000 won for two portions of cheese ribs and a noodle soup; another couple paid 69,500 won for a set plus extras. Three posts call it good value; one says it is on the high side for Hongdae but fair.
- Most posts list the phone as 0507-1325-9266; one gives 02-336-9266. Reservations are unclear: one post says phone, Naver and CatchTable bookings are not taken and it is walk-in only; another says you can book by phone and, in the same breath, that bookings aren't accepted. Listings copied as 'reservations available' were not counted.
- Four posts mention a free half plate of chili dumplings for writing a review. Two posts disclose sponsorship, one is from a reviewer program, three say they paid.
