The Hongdae branch of the Ganggangsullae charcoal-galbi chain, on a side street in Seogyo-dong between Hapjeong and Hongik Univ. stations. It serves wang marinated beef galbi (49,000 won a portion) and Korean beef for the grill alongside meal dishes like galbitang and yukhoe bibimbap; eight posts ordered the weekday-limited bokdanji marinated pork (19,900 won a portion). We read 30 posts dated 2 July to 9 October 2026, 29 of them from actual visits. But 18 of those repeat the same promotional phrases in the same order, so we did not count what they say.

What sets it apart
- Staff grill the meat for you, according to seven posts. One family with a 15-month-old said staff grilled the whole way through so they could just eat while minding the baby, and moved the finished meat onto a tray off the heat. Another said they were handed disposable aprons so the marinade wouldn't splash.
- A free dessert comes at the end of the meal, according to four posts: three describe plum tea with puffed-rice gangjeong, one says gangjeong with cinnamon punch. One post adds that the gangjeong is sold separately at the counter.
- Six or seven banchan come with the meat — japchae, salad, dressed lettuce, seasoned pollack among them — and three posts said they got or could get refills. Four posts singled out the seasoned pollack.
- Six posts describe a large room with generous spacing between tables, and three mention high partitions between tables. None of the independent posts describes an actual private room, so we can't tell whether the "rooms" in the promotional posts are just partitioned booths.

No post says from experience which floor the restaurant is on. The registered address says ground floor, but one July post says the second floor and another describes going up to it.
Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — that means we don't know, not that there's none. One post only says they took an elevator from the garage.
Nobody says whether the restroom is inside or whether it's split by gender.

Of the 11 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Eighteen of the 30 posts repeat the same phrases — private rooms, parking, a lunch dish under 10,000 won, good for foreign guests — and two are word-for-word identical. We treat those as copied text and don't rely on them. None says which lunch dish is under 10,000 won.
- Prices come from two September 2026 posts copying the menu. The sullae marinated grill is listed at 35,000 won in one and 33,000 in the other. The bokdanji pork is weekdays until 4 pm in two posts but weekdays only after 4 pm in another.
- Ten posts give the same hours, 11:00-22:00 daily with last order at 21:00, though most copy them from an info block. Nobody describes a break time or closing day from experience; one copied "open every day of the year". Seven posts give the phone number 02-3143-6635, and three booked ahead.
- No post mentions waiting for a table. One noticed many group bookings on a weekday evening and found the bokdanji pork already sold out.
- Two posts say it's walkable from the station; one gives directions from Hapjeong exit 3 toward the BMW showroom and into the side street. A post claiming it's 5-6 minutes from Mapo station doesn't match the location, so we didn't count it.
