Desperado is a retro pub on the second floor of 43 Dongmak-ro 9-gil in Mapo, between Hapjeong and Sangsu stations. People come for draught Kozel Dark, Paulaner and Guinness or a cocktail, with pizza, pasta and flame-grilled sausages as dinner; four posts put both the signature pizza and the sausage-and-fries plate at 27,900 won. We read 32 posts from 26 April to 14 October 2026, 31 of them actual visits. Of those 31, 21 ordered the signature pizza and 11 the sausage plate. - Going before 8 p.m. is cheaper: 24 posts mention the daily happy hour that runs until then. One post gives happy-hour prices — Paulaner 6,900 won, Guinness 8,900 won. Another arrived at six and left at 7:58, using the whole window.
- The walls are glass and the windows fold open in good weather: 17 posts describe the windows open or sitting by them, including one where both glass walls were fully open. All of these date from July to October; nobody has written about the colder months.

The pub is upstairs: 18 posts describe climbing to the second floor or spotting the sign there. Three mention climbing stairs. One says the entrance is to the left of Shenyang, the ground-floor shop.
We don't know about wheelchair or stroller access. Three posts mention stairs up to the second floor; no one mentions an elevator or the entrance step — which means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none.
Three posts confirm separate men's and women's toilets, one adding that they are inside the premises. Five call the place clean, four of them about the toilets.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 32 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Nearly every post repeats the same phrases and hashtags — retro pub with a foreign feel, big windows, experienced bartender, beer drawn straight from the fridge — which looks like commissioned copy. Only two disclose support: one review-group post and one given a meal voucher. We did not count the copied phrases.
- Four posts walked from the station — about eight minutes from Hapjeong, and one went via Hapjeong and returned through Sangsu. No one took a bus.
- No one reports waiting. Two arrived to an empty room, one as the first customer on a weekday evening. One came at 6 p.m. on a weekend and saw it fill up from seven; another only guessed there might be a weekend queue.
- Opening hours come only from copied info blocks. Eighteen posts agree on Mon–Thu 16:00–03:30, Fri–Sat 15:30–05:00, Sun 15:30–02:30; six give other times (Sunday closing at 02:00, Friday–Saturday at 05:30, Saturday opening at 18:30, or 'daily 12:00–24:00'). Two say there is no closing day. Check before you go.
- On price it's one against one: one post found the food on the pricey side, another not a burden. Kozel Dark Cinnamon is 8,900 won in a July post and 7,900 won in two September posts, without saying which is the happy-hour price. No post gives a total bill.
- Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1435-5835. Naver booking is listed in the info blocks, and one post mentions a 1+1 draught or house-wine coupon for booking, but nobody reports actually booking.
- Fried chicken arrived in September 2026; posts up to August mention only wings. From 24 September three posts ordered the new fried, honey-garlic and yangnyeom chicken, the honey-garlic at 24,900 won.
