쿠차라 합정역점 Kuchara Hapjeongyeok-jeom Cuchara is Spanish for 'spoon'; this is the Hapjeong Station branch of the Cuchara chain.

Compiled from 12 blog posts read in fullSources →

A branch of the Mexican chain Cuchara on the basement floor of the Mecenatpolis mall at Hapjeong Station. You pick a burrito, bowl, tacos or salad and build it Subway-style with protein, toppings and sauces, now ordered at a kiosk. A chicken burrito or tofu bowl was 9,900 won, an al pastor bowl 10,900 won, and the taquitos added in July 2026 were 4,800 won for two. We read 14 posts from February 2025 to August 2026; 12 describe actually eating here (one was a delivery order and one a chain job ad).

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.

What sets it apart

  1. Ordering changed. A February 2025 post described lining up and telling staff what to add; a September 2025 post found a kiosk newly installed. Six posts ordered at the kiosk, while one October 2025 post still ordered along the counter with staff assembling the food.
  2. Six posts called the room large and seven mentioned plenty of seating: high chairs in front of the counter, lower tables further in, and a long bar table. Several said it works for eating alone.
  3. Three posts said food came out fast; one, at a busy lunchtime, noted a screen showing when each order is ready.
  4. Five posts said portions were generous — a galbi bowl filled to the brim, a pork burrito that was a full meal. One writer said it was about half a US Chipotle portion but still filling.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside

In a basement7 of 12 posts

Seven posts placed it on the mall's basement level, one 'opposite Starbucks', another 'right in the middle' of the floor. Eight said it was easy to reach from the station; two said it connects directly to Exit 9 of Hapjeong Station.

No one mentioned steps at the entrance, wheelchair or stroller access, or whether there is a lift down to the basement level. That means we don't know, not that there is none.

No post said where the toilets are or whether they are separated by gender. We don't know.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 14 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • No one recorded how long they waited. One post said there can be a wait at 12–1 and 6–7 but it wasn't long; others found it packed late on a weekend and quiet at an early weekend lunch or on a weekday.
  • All opening hours are copied from listings. Six posts from February 2025 to March 2026 give 11:00–21:00; five from July 2026 give 10:30–21:00, last order 20:30 throughout. One post lists a weekday break from 15:00 to 17:00, but two say there is none, and one of those ate here around 3 p.m.
  • Prices are given dish by dish, but the only full bill is one group's 34,400-won platter. Most menu prices date from September–November 2025 and may have changed. One post said it was reasonably priced.
  • Nine posts give the phone number as 02-332-2155; one gives 02-332-9282. No one said whether reservations are taken.
  • The four posts from 26–29 July 2026 all went for the new taquitos, two pasting the chain's Instagram promotion verbatim; the two August 2026 posts repeat the chain's copy for the dakgalbi burrito. None disclosed sponsorship, but they read like promotion, so weigh their taste verdicts accordingly.
