Bibiri 2

비비리2 Bibiri appears to play on bibim, the 'mixing' in bibimbap — this is a self-serve, all-you-can-eat bibimbap room; the 2 marks it as a second branch (one post puts the first in Itaewon).

An all-you-can-eat bibimbap room in a basement on Wausan-ro 23-gil, near exit 9 of Hongik University station. You buy a 9,000-won ticket at the kiosk, build your own bowl from rice, vegetables, fried eggs and minced pork, and cup noodles, soup and scorched-rice tea are included; you bus your own dishes. We read 30 posts from November 2024 to September 2026; leaving out one about a different shop and four that were delivery, a TV-listing copy or list entries, 25 describe actual visits.

Rows without a count: 11 of 18 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Ordering is just buying a ticket at the kiosk at the foot of the stairs; 18 posts describe it. One post lists signs in Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, Portuguese and Italian, and another says a group of French diners cheered at finding French.
  2. Ten posts say they saw foreign diners themselves — one mentions tourists arriving with suitcases, another says there were always foreigners. One warns that if you land behind a tour group the topping line can take a while. Three posts mention a phone-charging corner.
  3. Sixteen posts say it isn't expensive. Nineteen visited posts give the price as 9,000 won and none gives another figure; one admits it seemed a bit steep at first but felt fair after eating. Seven posts mention a 2,000-won charge for leftovers.
  4. Seven posts are from repeat visitors — someone on their nth visit, an office worker who has come many times, a fourth-timer. By company: five went as a couple, four alone, and one each with family, a friend, and coworkers.

Getting inside

In a basement13 of 24 posts
Toilet inside1 of 24 posts

It is underground: 13 posts describe going down to it, and none puts it at street level. One finds the basement a little stuffy but roomy; six posts call the room spacious and seven say there are plenty of seats.

No one wrote about a step at the door, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift — that means we don't know, not that there is none. Three posts describe walking down a staircase.

Only one post mentions the toilet, saying it is next to the dish-return area. Nobody says whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Opinions differ on the 'spicy' gochujang: one post found it much hotter than expected, two said it was barely spicier than ordinary gochujang.
  • Three posts say they walked straight in and none reports waiting, but those visits were early lunch, early weekday evening or a quiet hour; nobody tells us what peak lunch is like.
  • Six posts say it's close to Hongik University station, though the walking times they give range from one or three minutes to five to ten. Nobody mentions buses.
  • Opening hours come only from copied info blocks. All 18 say it opens at 11:30, but 11 say it stays open to 22:00 on Fridays and Saturdays while seven give 20:30 every day. Eight give a 20:15 last order, and two say it has no regular closing day.
  • The price history rests on one writer's memory of it once being about 7,000 won; every visited post we read gives 9,000 won.
  • What changed: scorched-rice tea appears in posts from January 2026, and a September 2026 post says it looked new. Posts from January and March 2026 say the tofu that used to be among the toppings is gone.
  • We couldn't tell whether an earlier shop near Sangsu station moved here: one post says the writer has come since the Sangsu days, another thinks the first branch was by Sangsu and is gone, and a third says the first branch is in Itaewon.
  • Many posts give the same phone number, 0507-1395-3568. 'Reservations and takeout available' comes from copied info blocks; no one actually booked, and one post saw a bowl being packed to go.
  • Seven posts landed within five days, 19–23 February 2026, sharing the same hashtag line; they look like a sponsored campaign, though none says so. Five posts state the writer paid.
