HAN-U BOUTIQUE

한우부티크 강남점 Hanu Butikeu Gangnam-jeom Hanu is Korea's native beef breed and boutique means a small upscale shop; this branch serves Hanu grilled by staff in private rooms, with a wine list.

Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →

A private-room Hanu beef grill on the 8th floor of the Hojeong Building, near exit 5 of Gangnam Station. Staff grill the beef over charcoal and set it on your plate in large pieces for you to cut with a knife. At lunch, sets of 130 g of beef with doenjang stew, rice and coffee or tea run 54,000–58,000 won per person; at dinner, cuts cost 56,000–72,000 won per 130 g. We read 30 posts from November 2025 to October 2026, and 26 of them describe a visit. Twelve of those 26 had the marinated-sirloin lunch set. Fifteen posts went up between 1 and 19 October 2026, and they repeat the same phrases and the same room count.

Rows without a count: 8 of 17 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Twenty of the 26 visit posts say staff grilled the meat. Doneness varied. One post was asked in advance and got medium-rare; another wasn't asked and got medium-well. A third found the ribeye slightly overcooked and a little tough. If you have a preference, say so up front.
  2. Twenty-one of the 26 visit posts ate in a private room. The count of ten 4-person rooms, two 6-person rooms and one 8-person room is the restaurant's own figure, copied into the posts. Eight posts had a window room looking out over Gangnam towers. One post was shown to room 5, which has no window, so you may need to ask for a window room when booking.
  3. Nineteen visit posts mention the wine display by the entrance or along the corridor, or drank wine. The only bottle priced is a Chianti Classico Riserva at 79,000 won. One post says the unfinished bottle was re-corked for them to take home. Corkage is listed at 20,000 won per bottle of wine and 30,000 for whisky, so it is not free.
  4. Six posts describe a reception desk right off the 8th-floor lift and a waiting area with sofas. Seven posts say they took the elevator up.

Posts saying you can park1 of 24 posts

Nearly every parking line is copied guidance: one hour free at the A+ Asset Tower (now DF Tower, 369 Gangnam-daero) or in the building's mechanical car park. Fees after the first hour are given as 1,000 won (two posts) or 1,500 won (three posts) per 10 minutes. Only one post says it actually parked and found it easy, and one says to ask staff to register your car after the meal.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 8 (of 24 posts read)
Lift to the floor7 of 24 posts
Toilet inside1 of 24 posts

The restaurant is on the 8th floor. Eight posts say they went up to it, and none mention a basement.

No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is none. All we know is that an elevator goes up to the 8th floor. The 'kids welcome' and 'high chairs' lines are copied from the restaurant's own listing.

Only one post says from experience that the toilet is inside the restaurant and well kept. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' appears in two posts, copied from an info block. No one mentions an accessible toilet.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Eighteen posts say it's close to exit 5 of Gangnam Station (Shinbundang line), with walks given as 1 to 5 minutes. From the exit you walk straight, turn right at Paul Bassett, and look for the building with a Starbucks on the ground floor. No one describes getting there by bus.
  • No post describes queueing. Three posts say they booked ahead, and the rest say nothing about waiting. That doesn't mean there's never a wait, only that no one wrote about one.
  • Seven posts say who they went with: five with friends, one with a mother, one with a boyfriend. The rest only say the place would suit blind dates, family introductions or business dinners, without saying who they actually went with.
  • Seventeen posts give opening hours, all copied from listings: 11:00–22:00, last order 21:30, closed every Sunday. One post says closed on Mondays, but the same post also says open Monday to Saturday, so it contradicts itself. Lunch sets are listed as weekdays 11:00–15:00 only.
  • Prices are consistent across posts from Aug–Oct 2026. Lunch sets cost 54,000–58,000 won per person, so two marinated-sirloin sets come to 108,000 won. Dinner cuts are 56,000–72,000 won per 130 g. A few single posts give different figures. A March 2026 post has the specialty cuts at 68,000 won (later posts say 72,000), and a February 2026 post has the kimchi fried rice at 14,000 won (an October post says 8,000 per portion). We can't tell whether these prices changed. Two posts call the place expensive.
  • Two phone numbers appear: 0507-1440-3442 in 18 posts and 02-587-3316 in 5. Bookings are said to go through Naver and CatchTable.
  • Many posts follow the same template. Between 1 and 19 October 2026 alone, 15 posts used the same 'Gangnam blind-date spot' wording, the same room count and the same Instagram card. Five posts disclose sponsorship; the rest say nothing. The '1++ No.9' grading certificate and the 'master sommelier' story are the restaurant's own claims, repeated in the posts, so we don't rely on them. One post noted that the business name on the receipt matched that of Hwanggeum Jeongyuk Sikdang.
