라멘트럭 상수본점 Ramen Truck — the shop started in 2013 as a ramen food truck in Hongdae, and a framed photo of that truck hangs inside.

Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Japanese ramen shop in an alley just off Exit 4 of Sangsu Station (31 Dongmak-ro 14-gil). You order first at the kiosk by the door, then sit at the counter wrapped around the kitchen or at a two- or four-top. The basic ramen is 11,000 won, the gyokai tonkotsu 13,000 won, and the loaded Special and Mega bowls 16,000–17,000 won, per two posts that copied the full menu in September–October 2026. It began in 2013 as a ramen food truck in Hongdae, and two posts mention a photo of the truck on the wall. We read 30 posts from 26 July to 28 October 2026; 24 describe an actual meal. Two were about other places (the Konkuk branch and a café) and four were list or ad posts we did not count.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. You order first at the kiosk by the entrance; 13 posts say so. Several note the detailed menu descriptions posted beside it, and one says to ask staff directly if paying cash.
  2. Seating is a counter wrapped around the kitchen plus tables; 17 posts describe it, with two- and four-tops (one counted about three four-tops). Four posts call the room small, one calls it roomy; one says it is one dish per person because space is tight.
  3. The kitchen is open, so counter seats watch every bowl being made; 10 posts mention it, one watched noodles being made by hand. Others note bag baskets under the counter and aprons and hair ties at the seats.
  4. Eight posts note the promotions: add the KakaoTalk channel for extra chashu, write a receipt review for a free drink. One more got an extra slice of chashu with a Naver coupon.
6 more
  1. Four posts say it is an easy walk from Sangsu Station Exit 4, in the first alley; one says it is tucked in enough that a map app helps the first time. No one mentions buses.
  2. Waits vary. The two who waited wrote their names at 12:45 on a weekday lunch and were in within about two minutes, or found three groups ahead on a weekday evening and waited 5–10 minutes. Three walked straight in, at weekend lunch or just after lunch. There is a handwritten waiting list at the door.
  3. Of posts that say who came: seven with a partner or spouse, four alone, two with a friend. The solo diners sat at the counter, often with a draft beer or highball.
  4. Saltiness depends on the bowl: four posts found it salty, mostly the iekei and gyokai bowls labelled salty and rich; two who had the basic ramen said it was not salty. Richness splits three to three.
  5. The sides are gyoza and karaage; eight posts call them crisp, the gyoza repeatedly described as lacy and crunchy underneath, soft on top.
  6. Many are long-time regulars: eight posts describe return visits, some going back ten years or to university days. One couple of ten years found the noodles floury this time and the bowl less special than they remembered.

Parking

Posts saying you can park3 of 24 posts

There is room for about two cars out front. Three posts actually parked there and all three say space is tight; they found a spot at 1 pm on a weekday and on a weekday evening. Other posts saying parking is available are copying info blocks or the sign.

Getting inside

In a basementyes 0 · no 2 (of 24 posts read)
Toilet inside2 of 24 posts

The registered address says basement level 1, but two visitors wrote that the shop is on the ground floor, and one called it a standalone building. No post describes it as underground.

No one says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. One post mentions a small kerb, but it refers to the parking spot. We simply don't know.

Two posts say the toilet is inside, one calling it clean; but a 9 October 2026 post found it closed off and was sent to the station toilet. We don't know whether that is still the case, and no one mentions separate men's and women's rooms.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 28 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • All 13 posts that list hours say 11:00–21:30; ten give last order at 21:00 and six say there is no afternoon break. Four say open every day, while one says closed Sundays (on the same line that says daily). Almost all of this is copied from info blocks.
  • No price changes show up between July and October: the gyokai tonkotsu (13,000), karaage (6,000) and Shin chashumen (16,000) cost the same in both months. A bowl alone runs 11,000–17,000 won; one couple paid 30,000 won in total for ramen, a karaage set and drinks. Four posts got rice free, one paid 1,000 won.
  • Late-September and October posts say the gyokai tonkotsu, sold as a limited item last year, became a regular dish in autumn 2026, and mention a new-menu banner at the door. But a 26 July post already ordered it at 13,000 won, so we can't pin down when it changed.
  • One post mentions the shop has moved at some point and opened branches; no one says when or from where. Every post we read is about the current address.
  • Six posts list the phone number, 02-336-8456. No one says whether reservations are taken; one suggests calling ahead about seats for a group, since most seats are at the counter.
  • Nearly every post repeats that singer Lim Young-woong has eaten here; we counted only the five that saw the autographs on the wall or above the kiosk. Claims about a Peacock meal-kit deal, 1.3 mm house noodles and ten-hour broth come from the shop's own notices, so we don't rely on them.
