Manwol Dabang Hangang
만월다방 한강점 Manwol means a full moon and dabang is the old Korean word for a tea-and-coffee parlour; this is the Han River branch.
Compiled from 24 blog posts read in fullSources →
Manwol Dabang's Han River branch is a tea room on the fifth floor of 130 Tojeong-ro in Mapo, on the riverside below Sangsu Station. You pick a teapot and cups at the counter and brew the house tea blends yourself; a cup of ice comes alongside so you can finish it cold. There is hand-drip coffee, ice cream and Greek yogurt too, and most drinks, coffee or tea, were 8,000 won. We read 30 posts dated 5 March to 9 October 2026; 25 of them describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Fifteen posts describe the Han River through the full-width windows: Seogang Bridge, Bamseom island and the Yeouido towers beyond, with sofas and beanbags turned to face the glass. One post found a utility pole in the view distracting.
- Further in is a Japanese-style floor-seating area with kotatsu tables. Thirteen posts mention it, three of them saying you take your shoes off to go in. One group of three ended up there because the window seats are for two. Two posts noted the river view is poor from the floor seats.
- Writing a receipt review earns a paper lucky draw. Nine posts tried it, and several said that even a losing ticket came with a little fruit: grapes, cherry tomatoes or Shine Muscat.
- Four posts say a small snack of nuts, crackers or banana chips came with the drinks; two more got one but weren't sure whether it is always served.
1 more
- Four posts walked from Sangsu Station, five to ten minutes from Exit 3 toward the river.

Parking
8 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 8 of 24 posts |

Eight posts parked in, or saw, the free lot on the building's ground floor, and four say they drove. You register the car by QR at the counter. Space is tight: one couple had to keep going down to move their car from a double-parked spot, one driver found getting in and out awkward, and one post saw the lot go from half-empty at 2 pm on a weekday to full by the time they left.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 7 of 24 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 1 · no 3 (of 24 posts read) |
Several posts put it on the fifth floor and none mention a basement; one post said second floor, which contradicts the rest, so we set it aside. Three posts went up to the rooftop; an April 2026 visit found it closed for works until early May.
Seven posts took the lift up, and one says it opens straight into the café. No one mentions a step at the door or getting in with a wheelchair or pushchair; that means we don't know, not that it's a problem.
Posts disagree on the toilet: three say it is outside the café, half a floor down on the stairs, and one says it was inside. No visit says whether it is split by gender; a copied info block calls it unisex.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Five posts walked straight in on weekdays, some to an empty room. One weekend visitor sat down around noon and saw a 55-minute CatchTable wait by the time they left after 1:30. Another queued remotely on CatchTable over dinner and didn't wait at all. Too few posts cover weekend afternoons to say more.
- It isn't large: two posts found the tables close together or the room smaller than expected. One said staff let them move seats freely and there was no time limit.
- Two posts brought their dogs, registering them by QR at the counter. One post's info block says no dogs, but it reads as copied text and contradicts the two visits.
- Five posts came as a couple, five with family (mothers, in-laws, children), two with friends and one alone. Of the two that brought children, one passed on the notice that there is no kids' menu.
- Prices: most coffee and tea 8,000 won, with the special latte and Biscoff ice cream at 8,500. Two posts found it expensive; one thought a flat 8,000 was fair. The letter set is 8,000 won for two cards; the photo booth was 7,000 won in one post and 8,000 in another. On fireworks-festival night one post relayed that tables were pre-booked through KakaoTalk at 50,000 to 600,000 won.
- Hours: eleven posts give 11:00 to 23:00 daily, many copied from the listing; one gives 10:00 to 21:00 with last orders at 20:45. Posts that stayed until 9 or 10 pm on weekdays back the late closing. No post mentions a closing day.
- The phone number 0507-1327-3659 appears in four posts, and one visitor rang ahead to check for seats. No one says whether ordinary reservations are taken; the queue runs through CatchTable.
