INSOLE coffee

인솔커피 상수점 Insol Keopi Sangsu-jeom Two posts write the name in Latin letters as INSOLE — the inner sole of a shoe; the brand started in Jeonju, and Sangsu is its one Seoul shop.

Compiled from 19 blog posts read in fullSources →

Insol Coffee's Sangsu shop is a ground-floor cafe on a side street off Dongmak-ro 18-gil, near exit 3 of Sangsu Station. It sells coffee, salt bread and pound cake, and serves brunch plates in the daytime: pasta at 12,900 won, the crispy chili lasagna plate at 15,900 won, and a poke bowl at 16,900 won. Four posts say an americano can be added to a brunch dish for 1,000 won. One post describes ordering at the counter and collecting the food when a buzzer goes off. Dogs are allowed. The brand started in Jeonju and this is its Seoul shop. We read 30 posts from May 2025 to October 2026. We set aside five of them (three about the Jeonju terminal branch, one about a neighbouring cafe, one diet diary). 22 posts describe an actual visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Six posts describe being there with dogs: one owner's dog begged for pasta, a freelancer looked up to see a dog sitting at the next table, and another shared a puppuccino with her dog. One post reports a posted rule (carry the dog or use a carrier indoors, just a leash on the terrace); that is the shop's own notice, relayed.
  2. Eight posts call the room spacious, with remarks like 'roomier than expected, tables well spaced' and 'plenty of people working alone'. Several mention laptop workers. Two posts mention power outlets, one saying there is one at every seat. One post notes there is no single-seat bar counter, but two-tops can be pushed together.
  3. Six posts say the portions are large. Of the lasagna plate one wrote that they nearly burst; another went for a quick brunch and was surprised by how much came; a third couldn't believe the bacon cream pasta cost about 12,000 won.
  4. Six posts found it quiet; one disagreed, saying it got loud when a large group came in and she put in her earbuds.

  1. Five posts mention window seats and sunlight, such as trees swaying outside and a full-height window. Four mention outdoor seating: one spotted red parasols first, another skipped the terrace because it was winter.

Getting inside

Second flooryes 0 · no 1 (of 19 posts read)

Toilet inside2 of 19 posts
Separate restrooms2 of 19 posts

No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One post says the shop is a single ground-floor room, so there appears to be no basement or upstairs seating. One post came with a child and two mention high chairs, but none mentions a stroller. This is a gap in the posts, not evidence either way.

Two posts say the toilets are inside the shop and two say they are separated by sex; one adds that each is a single-user room and was clean.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 22 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Three posts describe parking from experience. They disagree on size: about three cars in front (August 2026) versus only about two (November 2025, when the writer got the last space on a Sunday afternoon). One suggests calling first because the lot is small. The 'parking for 3' lines in other posts are copied listings and we did not count them.
  • Opinions on price split two to two: two posts found it cheap for a brunch cafe or great value, while two said the 16,900-won poke is not cheap or the brunch fell a little short for the price. One post found the kids' drinks expensive.
  • No post describes waiting in line. One, on a Saturday afternoon in January 2026, gave up on three nearby cafes because of queues and found 'just one table left' here. One post says the food came in about eight minutes. That is an absence of reports, not proof there is never a wait.
  • Eleven posts agree on opening hours of 11:00 to 21:00 daily, with last orders at 20:30. None mentions a regular closing day. Brunch ordering hours have changed: posts from October and November 2025 say weekends differ from weekdays (one lists 11:30 to 19:00 on Saturdays and Sundays), but every post from February 2026 on gives 11:30 to 14:00 daily.
  • Four posts list the phone number 02-2135-3166. None says whether the shop takes reservations.
  • One post is a promotional piece carrying a Coupang affiliate disclosure. We ignored its listing-style claims, such as the parking details, and counted only the dogs the writer saw in the shop.
