A Chinese-Korean restaurant on the second floor of 51 Wausan-ro in Mapo, near Sangsu Station. Most posts ordered the dry-fried jjajang (ganjjajang), glutinous-rice sweet-and-sour pork and jjamppong; April 2025 posts list jjajangmyeon at 7,000 won, ganjjajang and jjamppong at 9,000, a small tangsuyuk at 16,000 and a tangsuyuk-and-cream-shrimp set at 35,000. One post says two people paid 31,000 won for noodles, soup and a small tangsuyuk. We read 10 posts from 5 April 2025 to 29 May 2026; 9 describe a visit.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Three posts note the open kitchen, and two say the chef from the staircase photo was cooking in the same fedora. One post was told the couple running it do no delivery, dine-in only.
  2. Three posts call the room spacious and three describe both solo seats and larger tables. Four posts were group meals — coworkers, a gym crowd, a professor's class.
  3. Four posts call the prices fair. One asked about the day-of-week discount dishes and was told the owner does all the cooking, so there are no labour costs to pass on.
  4. Three posts call the frying crisp; one says the glutinous-rice tangsuyuk is chewy rather than fully crisp. Three posts say the dishes were not greasy.

Getting inside

Second floor4 of 9 posts
In a basementyes 0 · no 4 (of 9 posts read)

The restaurant is upstairs; four posts describe going up to it. Two mention photos of the chef and dishes along the staircase, and two warn that the front door is heavier than it looks.

We don't know whether there is a lift or a step at the door. Posts mention stairs and a heavy door; none describes arriving with a wheelchair or pram.

No post says where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender — unknown, not absent.

No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 10 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Speed splits one to one: a May 2026 post says food came out right away, an April 2025 post says dishes always take 15 minutes or more, so go early at lunch.
  • No post describes waiting. One arrived at 1:40 pm, found it busy, and got a free four-top straight away. Several say it is crowded, but nobody reports a peak-lunch queue.
  • The '141 m from Sangsu Station exit 1' line is copied info. One post describes the walk itself: two minutes from Sangsu, about fifteen from Hongik University Station.
  • Opening hours come from copied blocks in four posts. All agree on Sunday closing and a 15:00-17:00 break, but Saturday opening reads 12:00 in two April 2025 posts and 11:00 in two posts from September 2025 on. The only first-hand note is a visitor who had to come on a weekday because it is closed on Sundays.
  • The phone number 02-322-8813 appears in two copied blocks, as does the note that bookings are taken; no post describes booking.
  • Only two April 2025 posts give prices; nothing in the year since, so current prices are unknown.
