Jjeopseu Beogeo

쩝스버거 Jjeop is the Korean sound of smacking your lips while eating, so the name reads roughly as "Lip-Smack Burger."

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

Jjeops Burger is a small handmade-burger shop at 91 Sanggye-ro, unit 102 on the ground floor, near Nowon Station. It sells five burgers (Pochi, Mozzi, Spin, Hotbul, Rich) for 7,900–10,900 won, and 4,000 won more turns any of them into a set with fries and a drink. Many people add the Canadian-style poutine (6,900 won, or 8,900 won with house bacon). You order from a tablet at your table and help yourself to gloves, wet wipes, hair ties and sauces at a self-serve bar. We read 30 posts dated 19 May to 14 October 2026; 23 of them are from people who ate there or waited in the shop for takeout.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Expect to wait. Thirteen posts describe queuing; the nine that give a time report 15, 15, 20, 20, 20, 30, 30, 30 minutes and one hour — the hour was a Saturday at 1 p.m. with ten groups ahead. Three walked straight in: a weekday at 7 p.m., a weekday midday, and around 2 p.m. The waiting list is inside at the counter, not outside, and staff either call your name at the door or ring or text you from an 070 number. One reviewer sat on milk crates out front; another stood in full sun for half an hour.
  2. The room is small. Ten posts say so, and those who counted describe roughly six to eight two-person tables. A group of three was seated at a small wall table rather than two pushed-together tables, and when chairs ran out staff brought in the milk crates used for waiting outside; they kept bumping into people passing to the self-serve bar.
  3. You order from your seat: ten posts used a tablet or kiosk at the table, and two say you pay at the counter on the way out. Ingredient cards for each burger sit under the device or on the table.
  4. Opinions split on greasiness: seven posts say the food isn't heavy, two say it is. Both of those two were about the Rich Burger — but two other people ate the Rich Burger and said it never got cloying. In posts about the Mozzi Burger and the poutine, the jalapeño and pickle came up again and again as what cuts the richness.
2 more
  1. Eight posts mention that writing a Naver receipt review gets you a scratch card or lottery ticket, or two buffalo wings. One reviewer won 5,000 won on a scratch card; two won nothing. One notes a Naver coupon for free wings couldn't be used at weekends.
  2. It's a walk from Nowon Station: one reviewer came out of Exit 9 and walked about five minutes, another found it easy by public transport at 114 m from Exit 1. Other posts place it near Exit 10.

Parking

5 posts say you cannot park. None say you can.

Posts saying you cannot5 of 23 posts

There is no parking at the shop. Five posts say so, and both reviewers who drove used the Sanggye 2-dong public car park at 14 Sanggye-ro 10-gil — one gives the rate as 150 won per 5 minutes (about 1,800 won an hour), the other says it's a 7–8 minute walk to the shop.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

2 posts say it is walkable from the station.

Getting inside

No one described the floor from experience. The address says ground floor, unit 102, but nobody mentioned stairs on the way in.

Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. The one reviewer with a baby took the food away rather than eating in. That means we don't know, not that it's inaccessible.

The only word on the toilet is one post's info box saying it is outside the shop; no one wrote about using it, and we don't know whether it is separated by gender.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Whether the Hotbul Burger is spicy splits two to two: two reviewers felt a mild burn on the lips, two said it wasn't really hot.
  • Two summer posts (28 August and 15 September) found the room very hot — one thought the air conditioning was broken. We don't know whether that has been fixed.
  • Three posts say food took around 20 minutes; one takeout order took over 30 minutes, and another, placed just after opening, was told to come back in an hour. One reviewer thought takeout came out fairly quickly.
  • Most posts give the opening hours as Monday to Saturday 11:30–21:00 with a 15:00–17:00 break, last orders at 14:30 and 20:30, closed Sundays. Four say the Saturday break is shorter, 15:00–16:30, and two give 15:00–16:30 as the only break. These are mostly copied from Naver; one reviewer says from experience that the Sunday closure kept them away. Posts also repeat that it closes early when ingredients run out.
  • Prices look unchanged from May to October. A meal runs 7,900–10,900 won for a burger alone, 11,900–14,900 won as a set, and up to 18,800 won if you swap the set fries for bacon poutine. Two posts said it wasn't expensive. One post lists the Hotbul set at 13,000 won where others say 13,900.
  • Seven posts give the same phone number, 0507-1395-9075. One says there are no reservations, only walk-in waiting. Delivery is unclear: one post says the shop is on the delivery apps but switches them off at weekends, another was told it had become too busy to deliver.
  • One post is a reworded copy of another visit, so we counted it once; another got the address, phone number and menu wrong and we set it aside. Competition rankings, TV appearances, celebrity visits and the bacon-curing process come from the shop's own claims or copied text, so we didn't count them.
