Hanamato Sangam DMC is a Japanese-style izakaya that takes both floors of a small building on Worldcup-buk-ro 44-gil, near exit 8 of Digital Media City station. People order from a tablet at the table and share several small plates over draught beer or highballs: five charcoal yakitori skewers (13,000 won), cod-roe cheese potato (10,000 won), cured mackerel (21,000 won), or a 45,000-won set of mackerel, yakisoba and oden. We read 30 posts dated 24 June to 14 October 2026. Two were about other places (Juram in Sangam and the Sangbong branch of Hanamato) and were set aside, which leaves 27 first-hand visits.

The values differ, but the periods they were written in do not overlap. This looks like a change over time rather than a disagreement, and the top row is the most recently reported. We did not confirm it with the restaurant.
What sets it apart
- A puppy lives on the second floor. Ten posts mention the house dog and five name it Tori (one jokes that its surname is Yaki, as in yakitori). They describe a young brown poodle. In one post a staff member brought the puppy down after the writers missed playing with it; another says the owner takes Tori off to rest once the second floor fills up.
- The front stays open. Fifteen posts say the windows or folding doors on both floors were thrown open, so it felt like drinking at a street-side table even indoors, and several singled out the second-floor window seats. Every one of those visits was between June and October, so we can't say whether the doors stay open in cold weather.
- A bowl of prawn crackers comes free when you sit down. Sixteen posts mention it, and two say it came in a Pororo dish.
- No post calls it expensive, and ten say it is cheap or good value. One post puts most single plates between about 8,000 and 19,000 won and the sets between about 30,000 and 45,000 won. Portion size is split: four posts say the plates are on the small side, two say they are generous.

We don't know about parking. The copied info blocks contradict each other: three say four free spaces of its own, one says no parking at the restaurant, and two say a few or limited spaces. Only one post actually came by car, and it says the restaurant has no lot of its own, so they used the hourly public car park nearby.

The two floors work differently. Eighteen posts describe the second floor: mostly sofa seats with backs and low partitions, where groups of four or more sat. The ground floor is mainly a counter by the entrance plus tables for one or two. One post warns that on the upstairs sofas, everyone on the outside has to stand up before the person on the inside can get out.
No post mentions a basement. Three posts say they sat on the ground floor; the rest sat upstairs.
No post says anything about a step at the door, wheelchair or stroller access, or a lift. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is none. Six posts say the second floor is reached by stairs.
Only a few posts mention the toilets. Three say they are inside the premises, two of them on the second floor. Three say from experience that there are separate men's and women's rooms; one explains that you go through a sliding door and the men's is on the left, the women's on the right. None mentions an accessible toilet.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Four posts say from experience that they walked from the station: two minutes from exit 8 in one, under five minutes from exit 9 in another, and one adds that DMC station is so big that just getting out of it takes a while. The '377 m from exit 8' figure is copied text that shows up in several posts.
- No post says they had to queue. One walked straight in around 10 pm on a weekday. Others say the room started filling around 7 pm on a weekday, or that it was full by 10 pm. Two posts booked their table through Naver.
- Every opening time in the posts is copied from a listing. Thirteen give 5 pm to 3 am, three give 4:30 pm to 3 am (all from 17 to 20 September 2026), and one gives 5 pm to 1 am. Eleven put last orders at 2 am. Fifteen say it is closed on Sundays and one says it opens every day, yet one writer says they went on a Sunday evening, so we couldn't confirm Sunday hours. One post claims it also opens for lunch, but no other post backs that up.
- Some prices disagree between posts from the same weeks. Salmon sashimi appears as 15,000 won in three posts and 14,000 won in two, and Nagasaki champon as 15,000 won in one and 16,000 won in another. The difference doesn't line up with the dates, so we can't tell when, or whether, prices changed.
- Ten posts copy the number 0507-1332-9269, but none says they phoned it to book. The two posts that booked did so through Naver.
- The posts cluster between July and October 2026, and many share almost the same title and hashtags, such as 'Sangam DMC izakaya matjip' and '#상암dmc맛집감성'. None discloses sponsorship; three say they paid their own way.
