Jeongwon Bossam
정원보쌈 Jeongwon reads as the word for 'garden' (the posts never explain the name), and bossam is sliced boiled pork eaten wrapped with kimchi and greens.

Jeongwon Bossam is a bossam and Korean home-style restaurant on a side street at Bongeunsa-ro 72-gil 4, between Samseong Jungang and Seonjeongneung stations. It is new: a diner on 7 October 2026 was told it had been open about two months. Lunch is a 10,000-won daily special that changes by weekday or a 12,000-won bossam set; dinner centres on platters — octopus-and-pork at 45,000 won (medium), whole-octopus-and-pork at 50,000 won, plain pork at 35,000 won. We read 15 posts from 11 September to 19 October 2026, all from people who ate there: 10 had the stir-fried octopus platter, 3 the whole-octopus platter, one the bossam set and one the daily special.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Side dishes are topped up on request — four posts say so, including one that got extra kimchi and one couple who had three bowls of seaweed soup. A diner at 8 pm on 7 October found the banchan running out; the owner fried eggs instead, and offered radish kimchi when the cabbage kimchi was gone. The side dishes visibly differ from post to post.
- Opinions on the pork's thickness split two and two: two posts call the slices thick, two call them thin (one liked them softer for it). Four posts say there was no porky smell; none says there was.
- Most posts find the stir-fried octopus spicy — seven say so, one says it was not spicy at all. A self-described spice-averse diner called it pleasantly medium.
- Seven posts found the portions generous — one says a medium octopus platter feeds three adults, another that the medium whole-octopus platter was plenty for two.
2 more
- Three posts call the staff kind. The self-paid post, arriving near closing, says the owner — short of meat for a platter — suggested two bossam sets instead; they were the last customers.
- Twelve posts call the room clean, but most use near-identical wording about a newly opened, tidy room with well-spaced tables, so they may not be independent observations. Three say outright that the room is large.

Getting inside

Two posts say it is on the ground floor of the building. Nobody mentions steps at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access.
We don't know whether there is a step or ramp at the door, or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits — not because there isn't one, but because no one wrote about it.
We don't know where the toilet is or whether it is separated by gender; no post mentions it.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Of the 15 posts, one discloses sponsorship and one says the meal was self-paid. The other 13 say nothing, but repeat the same phrases in the same order — three minutes from the station, seats for 40, good for engagement dinners, fresh octopus daily — under three title templates. They may be commissioned; read the praise counts with that in mind.
- We don't know about queues: no post says there was one or that there wasn't. The 8 pm diner on 7 October were the last guests; whether lunch is crowded is only guessed at. One post waited about 20 minutes for the food, another says it came straight away.
- Few posts say who they came with: one with a friend, two with a partner; the rest just say two people. No one wrote about a group dinner — the 40-seat figure is copied from the listing. Two posts noticed people eating alone.
- Opening hours: eleven posts give weekdays 11:00–22:00 with a 15:00–16:30 break, almost all copied from the listing. Saturday changed over time — three posts up to 2 October list Saturday 11:00–15:00, while one from 30 September and all six from 8 October say closed Saturday and Sunday. Saturday service seems to have been dropped, but no one actually went on a Saturday.
- Prices mostly agree, with some gaps: five posts give 45,000 won for the medium octopus platter, one (2 October) says 40,000; live-octopus tartare appears at both 25,000 and 35,000 won, stir-fried octopus at 14,000 and 13,000. A meal runs 10,000–12,000 won at lunch, or 45,000–50,000 won for two at dinner plus drinks and rice.
- Ten posts give the same phone number, 0507-1405-0588. Reservations are advertised on the sign and listing, but no post says they booked.
