Donkkaseu-ui Jip
돈까스의집 Donkkaseu-ui jip simply means 'the house of pork cutlet' — a plain name for an old Western-style (gyeongyangsik) cutlet restaurant.

Donkkaseu-ui Jip is an old-style Western pork cutlet restaurant at 100 Samjeon-ro in Songpa, near Samjeon station. The menu has four items: pork cutlet, fried fish and hamburg steak at 12,000 won each, plus a 13,500-won set with all three on one plate. Each meal comes with rice or a bread roll, and adding the other costs 1,000 won. Cream soup arrives first, and you order on a tablet at the table. We read 13 posts dated 28 July to 15 October 2026; 12 describe an actual meal there, and the other is a list of five Seoul cutlet places.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Five posts mention waiting: five groups ahead at about 6:30 pm with entry after roughly 20 minutes, four groups ahead at lunch, and a weekday noon queue that cleared in under five minutes. One post took a number and waited on the waiting seats. Two posts walked straight in, one of them at a late weekday lunch. Several note a CatchTable remote-queue kiosk at the entrance.
- Four posts say the food came quickly, one comparing it to fast food. No post complained of slow service.
- Five posts ordered on the tablet at each table; two mention ketchup, pepper and salt left on the table.
- Four posts describe the room as spacious; one says it is much bigger inside than it looks from outside.
2 more
- Three posts saw high chairs; one family with children sat at a round table.
- Two posts call the food ordinary, one titled 'ordinary, so why is it popular'. Two other posts are by repeat visitors.

Parking
2 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Two posts parked in the building's underground lot and say the restaurant registers your car for one hour. One found the ramp down very narrow, and took the lift up to the restaurant's back door. Other posts repeat the one-hour-free line from listings; we did not count those.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 1 of 12 posts |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 12 posts read) |
No post describes which floor the restaurant is on from experience; only the address says ground floor. One post reached the back door by lift from the underground car park.
Nobody wrote about a step at the door or entering with a wheelchair or stroller — that means unknown, not absent. One post reached the back door by lift from the car park.
One post says the toilet is outside the restaurant and you take a key from inside. Another post's 'use the building toilet' is copied from a listing. Nobody mentions whether toilets are separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 13 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Posts split on thickness: two call the cutlet thin, two say it didn't feel thin. On sweetness, one finds the sauce sweet and one the hamburg steak, while one says the sauce is not too sweet.
- The '385 m from Samjeon station exit 2' line is copied from listings; no post describes walking from a station or bus stop.
- Company varies: two posts went with family, one with a friend, one with a boyfriend, one alone; the rest don't say.
- Opening hours appear in nine posts, eight of them copied from listings: daily 11:00-21:50, break 16:00-16:30, last orders 15:30 and 21:20, no fixed closing day. One post gives 11:00-21:20.
- Prices don't vary across posts from July to October 2026. One group of three paid 37,500 won for one set and two cutlets. One post calls the prices reasonable; none calls them expensive.
- Two phone numbers appear: 0507-1306-5182 in three posts and 02-413-5182 in two. Nobody says whether reservations are taken; the only system mentioned is CatchTable remote queueing.
- Two posts from 8 October share the same stock phrasing and order with no times, waits or seating details, reading like promotional copy, though neither discloses sponsorship.
