Lemongrass Thai Isu sits on the second and third floors of a block at the far end of the Namseong Sagye market street, a walk from exit 14 at Isu (Chongshin University) station. The registered name is the spaced 레몬그라스 타이; the sign and the customers use the longer branch name. Thais cook and Thais serve. It holds Thai SELECT, the certification the Thai government gives to Thai restaurants abroad, and the certificate hangs on the wall with the trophies. The menu runs from pat tai, crab curry and tom yum through Indonesian nasi and mee goreng to a Vietnamese beef noodle soup. It began as the second floor alone and has since taken the third and the roof. Open every day, eleven to nine, with no afternoon break. The posts we read run from December 2024 to July 2026.

  The dish the shop advertises on its own door. Stir-fried rice noodles with prawn, egg and fried tofu — and **the beansprouts, garlic chives, crushed peanuts and lemon arrive raw on the side**, to be folded in yourself

  **The price has gone from ₩12,000 to ₩13,000** — five posts between July and September 2025 give the lower figure, two from July 2026 the higher. Two writers put the flavour down to how thin the noodle is. The prawns are repeatedly called plump and plentiful. The three-person set adds tom yum; the four-person one pairs the beef noodle, the crab curry, nasi goreng and plain rice

  **Only one post prices a set**: the four-person LU4 at ₩46,000 (May 2026). Another says merely that lunch sets run in the twenty-thousands. **Seven posts recommend the sets; two actually ordered one** — and one of those seven arrived in the evening and found the lunch sets had closed

Naver Map has a full English mode — Settings → Language → English. In Korea it gives better walking and transit directions than Google Maps.

Getting inside

You get in by climbing, and not one post mentions a threshold or a wheelchair. Six describe the stairs up the side of the building to the second floor, and several more the further climb to the third and the roof; one calls the staircase cramped. Yet across all twenty-eight visits the words ramp, lift, wheelchair and pushchair never appear — the one 'lift' on record is the dumbwaiter that sends food from the second floor to the third. We do not know how many steps there are, or whether there is a rail.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

When the posts appeared

What we do not know

• The toilet is on the landing on the way up to the third floor, and it is unisex. Two posts say so, and both found it clean. One noticed a second toilet on the stairs to the roof that did not look open to customers yet. Nobody says whether there is an accessible cubicle or a nappy-changing table. Exactly one post mentions a high chair.
• We know almost nothing about waiting. Of twenty-eight visits, one mentions a queue, in a single line: there is a bit of a wait at peak times. Another notes chairs on the stairs for people waiting, so queues evidently form. When, and for how long, nobody says. Lunch especially is a blank — one post says office workers from nearby fill the place, without a word about waiting for a table.
• A large share of the writing about this restaurant appears to come from one source. Nine posts carry the same eleven hashtags in the same order — including a duplicated tag, the typo reproduced intact. Only two of those nine declare a sponsorship, and one further post declares a fee. We kept every post that records an actual meal, paid or not: what someone ate and saw is an observation whoever commissioned the writing. Two we did drop from the denominator: published on the same day in September 2025, sharing a section-by-section template down to the business-details footer, naming what they ate only as a price range rather than a dish, and both asserting on-site parking that four first-hand visits deny.
