Koshi Isu-jeom
코시 이수점 Koshi (こし) is the Japanese word for the firm, springy bite of good noodles — the shop makes its own Sanuki-style udon.

Koshi Isu sits on the ground floor of the Isu Xi building at Sadang-ro 300, right outside exit 9 of Isu station, serving house-made Sanuki-style udon and pork katsu. Bukkake udon is 9,000 won, toriten or tempura bukkake 11,000, loin katsu 11,500; adding 4,000 won to an udon brings a tempura plate, 5,000 won brings a whole katsu. You order from a tablet or kiosk. We read 30 posts dated 3 August to 13 October 2026; 27 describe actually eating here. Two were about other restaurants and one had no meal in it, so we set those aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- At mealtimes you may wait or walk straight in: seven posts waited, five did not. The waits recorded were about five minutes, under ten minutes, and two groups ahead. Two posts mention writing your name on a waiting list at the door, and two mention chairs set out front. The walk-ins came right at 5 pm when the break ended, on a holiday evening, at a weekday lunch, and once when a single seat happened to free up.
- Ten posts say it is an easy walk from the station. But three posts, from 27 September, 6 October and 13 October, found exit 9 closed for construction and used exit 8 or 10. The shop faces the side by McDonald's, not the main road, and one writer got lost for five to ten minutes after going into the building.
- Eleven posts call the portions large. One put the noodles at about one and a half times a normal udon shop's; a couple who ordered three dishes for two said not to repeat their mistake; another found even the mini udon in the set generous.
- No post found it expensive; ten said it was good value, often pointing to the 5,000-won katsu add-on and the 3,000-won draft beer. One post only called the prices middling.

- Five posts mention high chairs. Two parents who came with children got kids' bowls, cutlery and scissors, and one says a staff member handed the girls chocolates.

Parking
3 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.
| Posts saying you can park | 3 of 26 posts |

Three posts actually parked in the building's basement garage and registered their plate for an hour's validation. Most other mentions of 'one hour free' are copied listings, so we don't count them. One post said the shop has no parking of its own and suggested a public lot or the subway.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
Ten posts say it is an easy walk from the station. But three posts, from 27 September, 6 October and 13 October, found exit 9 closed for construction and used exit 8 or 10. The shop faces the side by McDonald's, not the main road, and one writer got lost for five to ten minutes after going into the building.
Getting inside
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 2 (of 26 posts read) |
|---|---|
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 26 posts read) |
No one wrote about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that it's a problem. Two posts confirm it is on the ground floor.
Only one post mentions the restroom, saying it is outside the shop. Nobody wrote about separate men's and women's rooms or how far it is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 27 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on size split one to one: one post found it surprisingly roomy, another said it isn't large. The '48 seats' figure appears in two posts with identical wording, so we don't rely on it.
- Twenty-two posts give opening hours, mostly copied listings: daily 11:20–21:00 with a 15:20–17:00 break and last orders at 14:50 and 20:30. One says Monday to Saturday, one gives a 20:30 close, one an 11:00 start and 15:00 break.
- Prices are from posts between August and October 2026. Zaru udon is 9,500 won in three posts and 9,000 in one; the extra katsu is 5,000 won as an option and 6,000 won ordered separately, according to two posts.
- Fourteen posts list the phone number as 0507-1349-3723; one gives 02-588-3723. Naver booking and group reservations for 5–20 people appear only in copied listings — no post says they booked ahead.
- Maze udon first appears in late September 2026, described by one writer as a new item; two menu lists copied in October still leave it out.
- One post was sponsored through Supermembers, and two share the same stock phrases in the same order (48 seats, an actor's endorsement, one minute from the Megabox). We counted their meals but not those phrases.
