Jeonmang Joeun Jip

전망좋은집 Jeonmang joeun jip means 'the house with a good view' — posts describe its outdoor tables looking toward the 63 Building and Yeouido across the river.

Compiled from 17 blog posts read in fullSources →

Jeonmang Joeun Jip is a 'chojang-jip' — a place where you bring seafood bought at the Noryangjin Fish Market and pay a table charge to eat it — right by the market and the Noryangjin football pitch, steps from exit 9 of Noryangjin Station. Guests pay 5,000 won a head (7,000 won if they skip the fish stew) and order the house's pork belly (15,000 won a portion), stew or stir-fried pork alongside. There are indoor tables and an outdoor area facing the 63 Building. We read 23 posts from November 2025 to October 2026; 17 describe actually eating here. One was about another restaurant and five were listings or people who could not get a table.

Rows without a count: 2 of 6 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Fifteen of the 17 visit posts brought fish, prawns or crab from the market. The kitchen will salt-grill or steam what you bring for 10,000 won per kilogram — one party paid 26,000 won for 2.6 kg of crab — and three posts had the leftover prawn heads fried in butter.
  2. Eight posts booked ahead, all by phone. One said a table for two was refused but four was accepted, and several give four as the minimum. Walk-ins had trouble: one group was turned away without a booking — not even allowed to wait — while about a third of the seats looked empty, and another went next door because the outdoor area was full. One regular, by contrast, said bookings are rarely refused for lack of space.
  3. Nine of the 17 visit posts mention the outdoor tables. They fill up in spring and autumn; two summer visitors moved inside because it was too hot and humid. Two posts called the place noisy and crowded.
  4. You grill the pork yourself: five posts describe a tabletop gas burner with the kimchi and bean sprouts that come with the pork cooked alongside. One post made its own fried rice in the leftover fat.

Getting inside

Step at the entrance1 of 17 posts
Toilet inside2 of 17 posts

No visit post says which floor the restaurant is on. One mentions climbing stairs to the entrance, and one copied address includes '2F'.

Nobody wrote about entering with a wheelchair or stroller. One post mentions stairs up to the entrance, so we do not know whether step-free access exists; nobody mentioned a lift either.

Two posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant. Nobody described whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 22 posts we gathered, 5 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • The outdoor area has changed. A September 2026 revisit after two years said it used to be fully open but now has posts and a roof that block the view toward the 63 Building. An April 2026 post describes plastic windbreaks and a May post a black canvas roof over wooden tables; two posts thought it would now work in the rain.
  • The table charge has gone up: 4,000 won a head in December 2025, then 5,000 won with stew ordered from April 2026 ("it's gone up now"), and later posts add 7,000 won without stew. For a sense of a whole meal, one group of five ordered seven portions of pork belly, a seafood noodle stew, six bottles of soju and two of beer. One post found prices a bit high, and one warned that billing mistakes are common, so check the bill.
  • Six posts copied the opening hours, all opening at 3 p.m. The weekday closing time splits three to three between 10:20 and 10:30 p.m. Three posts up to June 2026 list weekends as 3–10 p.m.; two October posts list Monday to Saturday on the weekday hours and Sunday 3–10 p.m. One August 2026 post alone says closed on Sundays. All of this is copied listing data, so call ahead.
  • No post describes queuing. One walk-in group was told they could not even wait, so we do not know whether the house ever takes a waiting list.
  • Several posts give the same phone number, 0507-1391-8080. All bookings were made by phone; no post mentions online booking. A December 2025 post thought reservations open a month at a time.
  • One September 2026 post was sponsored by a different shop at the market; this restaurant was not the sponsor, and no post discloses sponsorship by it.
