Onggyejip's Namyeong branch is a charcoal chicken grill in an alley off exit 6 of Sookmyung Women's Univ. station. You pick chicken ribs (330 g a portion) or chicken neck in one of three styles — herbal marinade, soy or salt — and can mix single portions. Most posts give 17,900 won for ribs and 17,000 won for neck. The meat comes part-grilled and you finish it over table charcoal after staff scatter rice husks on the coals for smoke. Order one grill portion per person and a shrimp doenjang stew comes free. What we do not know
- Waits vary. Two posts waited — about ten minutes after 9 p.m. on a Friday, and a queue after 8 p.m. on another night. One found the last free table at 6:20 p.m. on a weekend; another found the hall empty at 5 p.m. on a weekday and full by six. Four posts mention booking, two of them booked ahead.
- Three posts say food came slowly — the ribs arrived after the fried rice because of the pre-grilling and smoking, and noodles were late on a busy evening. One post said plenty of staff set the table quickly; another found the grilling itself took far too long.
- Prices differ slightly. Most posts give 17,900 won for a portion of ribs; two posts from 14–15 October give 17,000 won, which looks like a copied old menu rather than a change over time. The fried rice is mostly 8,000 won, one post says 9,000. Nobody called it expensive, and two posts said it was good value.
- All opening hours are copied listings. Twenty-two posts give them, mostly 3 p.m. to midnight on weekdays and 1 p.m. to midnight on weekends and holidays, last order 11 p.m. One post copied 'open 24 hours daily', which matches nothing else, so we left it out. No post mentions a closing day. Many posts also copy the phone number 0507-1438-7076 and note Naver booking.
- One post found the vegetables in poor shape and sent back a chilli that looked half-eaten. Several others say the lettuce came wrapped in cling film and fresh; this one post is the exception.
