Mentami is a miso ramen and aburasoba shop in an alley between Namyeong and Sookmyung Women's Univ. stations (Hangang-daero 76-gil 9). You order at a kiosk by the door, then eat at a U-shaped counter wrapped around the kitchen. September 2026 posts list miso ramen at 11,000 won, the deluxe version at 14,000 and miso aburasoba at 12,500, the last served with free rice for the leftover sauce. What sets it apart
- Expect to queue. Ten posts mention a wait. Where they timed it: 20 minutes as eighth in line at 1:55 pm on a Saturday, a little over 10 minutes behind six groups at 7 pm on a weekday, and about 20 minutes at 5 pm on a weekend. One post found eleven groups ahead at around 11:40 am; another gave up at lunch when the app quoted an hour and a half. A CatchTable machine by the door takes your phone number and messages you on KakaoTalk, and two posts mention a waiting bench outside. One post walked straight in on a weekday evening.
- Fourteen posts ordered and paid at the kiosk right inside the door. The kiosk lets you choose regular or 'stronger' (saltier) broth, and you hand the printed slip to staff. Some posts say you can order while still in the queue.
- Six posts say every seat is at the counter, and five more say 'mostly' counter seats. One post wrote that all seats are table seats, but it was describing a wide counter top, so we did not count it either way. Several posts mention the tiled counter surface.
- Saltiness splits the posts. Three found it salty — one ordered the 'stronger' broth and ended up adding water — while two said it was not too salty. Two more were undecided, one noting it tasted saltier towards the end.

We don't know the floor layout. The address says ground floor and the shop's notice reportedly says noodles are made upstairs, but no post describes the way in.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or pushchair fits. That means unknown, not absent.
One post says the toilet is inside and clean. Nobody mentions whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.

What we do not know
- Four posts say it is an easy walk from the subway — about 270 m from Namyeong exit 1, or five minutes from Sookmyung Women's Univ. exit 6. No post mentions buses.
- Fifteen posts give opening hours, and fourteen agree on 11:00–20:30 with a 15:00–17:00 break and last orders at 14:30 and 20:00 — mostly copied info. One post alone says 11:00–23:00. Two say it opens every day of the year.
- Prices are from posts dated August to October 2026. One post lists the spicy miso ramen at 14,000 won where others say 11,500, so it likely quoted the deluxe price. The 4,000-won aubergine bowl appears in a single early-September post. A meal runs 11,000–14,500 won a bowl plus beer or rice; one pair paid 27,500 won for two ramen and a mini chashu bowl.
- Six posts give the same phone number, 02-794-4307. None says whether reservations are taken; what posts describe is CatchTable on-site and remote queuing.
- A post from 30 August 2026 says extra chashu was unavailable for a while and can be ordered again; we don't know when it stopped or resumed. One September post felt the taste had changed, but that is a single opinion.
