Seoulloin Seoulyeok-jeom

서울로인 서울역점 Seoulloin is read as 'people on the road of Seoul' and is a pun on sirloin — 'Seoul sirloin'; this is the Seoul Station branch.

Compiled from 23 blog posts read in fullSources →

Seoulloin's Seoul Station branch is a Hanwoo beef course restaurant on the first basement floor of Seoul Square, across from Seoul Station. Meals open with a tray of one-bite starters, run through sashimi, jeon and a broth, then beef you grill yourself at the table, cold milmyeon, rice with doenjang stew, and dessert. Of 23 posts by people who went, 15 had the Sura course at 159,000 won per person for 90 g of beef. The September 2026 menu runs from the Jongga course at 99,000 won to Sura at 159,000; a weekday lunch bulgogi course is 59,000 and milmyeon on its own is 16,000. The restaurant revamped its courses on 1 September. We read 30 posts dated 29 May to 14 October 2026; after removing one about a different restaurant and six introductions or lists by people who did not go, 23 are visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. The private rooms are why people choose this place. Twelve posts saw or used rooms that close with a door; two ate in one (a friends' get-together, a mother's birthday). Several ate in the hall: two said the tables are far enough apart that neighbouring talk didn't carry, and one noted glass partitions but said the hall is shared space, so book a room for a formal family meeting. Eight posts called the restaurant large.
  2. You grill the beef yourself. Six posts said so — one was handed individual tongs, two admitted overcooking a little. Staff lay rosemary on the hot plate before the meat goes on, and pour the broth for the soup course at the table.
  3. Five posts that came by train or subway walked from Seoul Station through the underground link into Seoul Square. One who arrived from Daegu by KTX crossed the street above ground, went in and out of the underpass, and advises using the Seoul Square entrance between Line 1 exits 8 and 9. Another post also found it hard to spot: the shop only comes into view once you turn the corner after the escalator.
  4. Portions split. Four posts left full — one joked at first that it wouldn't touch the sides, then couldn't finish the rice and stew. Two found it small: one meant the course's base 90 g of beef (three pieces each of grill cut and rib) and suggests upgrading to 120 or 150 g; the other meant the à la carte sea bream pot rice.
2 more
  1. Two posts actually brought their own wine: one got glasses set the moment they ordered, the other an ice bucket, ice, opener and glasses. The one-bottle-per-table free corkage rule and the fees beyond it are copied from the menu and banner.
  2. Two posts called it expensive: one was shocked to find the Gyeongtakju makgeolli was 49,000 won a bottle, 98,000 for two; another said the tartare-in-seaweed at 22,000 won for two pieces was very pricey. One post actually got the 30% pregnancy discount, bringing a 99,000-won course to 69,300.

Posts saying you can park3 of 23 posts

Three posts drove and parked in the Seoul Square garage. One took the lift straight down and found validation painless on the way out; another found the split-level ramp layout a little awkward. The free-parking terms (one hour if you enter before 6 pm on weekdays, two hours after 6 pm and at weekends, then 2,000 won per 15 minutes, vehicles under 1.8 m) are copied text, and one post gave the weekday daytime allowance as an hour and a half.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

From the station

Five posts that came by train or subway walked from Seoul Station through the underground link into Seoul Square. One who arrived from Daegu by KTX crossed the street above ground, went in and out of the underpass, and advises using the Seoul Square entrance between Line 1 exits 8 and 9. Getting inside

In a basement6 of 23 posts
Lift to the floor2 of 23 posts

It sits deep in the basement food court of Seoul Square. Six posts described going down into the building to find it. Two mention a lift: one rode it straight down from the car park, and one says wheelchair users must enter at the ground-floor lobby and ask staff for the lift rather than come from the subway exit.

No post describes entering with a wheelchair or stroller. One says you can't get in from the subway exit 9 side in a wheelchair and should take the lift from the building's ground floor. Nobody mentioned a step at the restaurant door — that means we don't know, not that there isn't one.

Nobody described using the toilets. 'Separate men's and women's toilets' is copied listing text; one post noted that Seoul Square's building toilets put men's and women's at opposite ends, but we don't know whether the restaurant has its own.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 29 posts we gathered, 6 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Of the 23 visit posts, 15 went up in a single week, 21–27 September 2026. Most describe the same Sura course in the same order, repeat the printed menu-card wording and share a hashtag block; only two of them say they were sponsored. Four posts in all disclose sponsorship or a meal voucher, and one says the author paid. Read the praise with that cluster in mind.
  • The courses were revamped on 1 September. A May 2026 post paid 99,000 won for the Seonhwa course with 90 g of beef; a menu copied on 3 September lists Seonhwa at 119,000 and Jongga at 99,000. We can't tell whether that course went up in price or the names were reshuffled. What the four visit posts from August or earlier ate, and paid, may not match today.
  • No post mentions waiting for a table — that means nobody wrote about it, not that there is never a wait. Six posts went with a booking; one says a Naver booking needed no deposit and a confirmation text came the day before.
  • One post found the courses slow to arrive even on a quiet day, so the meal kept losing its rhythm; that visit also had a power cut. No other post complained about pace.
  • Sixteen posts give opening hours, all copied from listings. Fifteen say 11:30–22:00 daily; one says 11:00. Ten split the afternoon break into 15:00–17:00 on weekdays and 15:00–17:30 at weekends, three give only 15:00–17:00, two only 15:00–17:30. Last orders are 14:00 for lunch and 21:00 for dinner. No post names a closing day.
  • Two phone numbers circulate: eight posts give 0507-1374-0329, five give 02-6329-0329. Copied listing text says rooms are confirmed by phone, so check which number answers before booking. The 02-782-2260 at the end of one post belongs to the Yeouido branch.
