Ollimen

올리멘 Men is the Japanese word for noodles, as in ramen; none of the posts explains the 'Oli' part of the name.

Compiled from 16 blog posts read in fullSources →

A ramen shop on the second basement level of the Grand Central building across from Seoul Station. The menu centres on the olimen, a clam-and-chicken broth ramen (14,000 won), a spicy tomato ramen (13,000) and mazesoba (13,000); a set with chicken nanban and a drink is 19,000. You order from your phone via the table QR code or NFC tag and pay on the way out. We read 18 posts from 15 August to 1 October 2026. Seventeen describe actual visits, one of them a July visit written up in September; the other is a list of new restaurants in Jung-gu.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Nine posts ordered by scanning a QR code or tapping a phone on the table; two said you pay separately when leaving, and one simply called a server over. One tip for mazesoba: the order screen defaults to no mini rice, so switch it on if you want rice for the leftover sauce.
  2. Eight posts said it is an easy walk from Seoul Station, putting it at four, five or six minutes on foot. One added Hoehyeon Station, and several stopped in before or after a train.
  3. Nine posts saw the half-price Suntory draft promotion and two drank it at 3,500 won. August posts gave the half-price hours as weekday evenings 5-9 pm and weekends and holidays 11 am-9 pm; two September posts mentioned extra perks for building tenants.
  4. Opinions on the spicy tomato ramen's heat are split. Four posts called it properly hot. Four said it wasn't: one self-described spice wimp managed fine, and another who handles heat well barely noticed it; one of the four was talking about the mazesoba. One more called it mildly hot without settling either way.

  1. Five posts noted the open kitchen where you can watch the noodles being boiled and served. Eleven called the place clean, most pointing out that it had only just opened.

Getting inside

In a basement7 of 16 posts

Seven posts described getting down to B2: one level below the bus concourse on B1, one more floor down from the entrance, and the main door is easier than the outdoor escalator. One writer went two floors down by mistake and ended up on B3.

Nobody mentioned steps at the entrance, getting in with a wheelchair or stroller, or a lift; one post only says they came down by escalator. That means nobody wrote about it, not that there is no access.

No post described the toilets in its own words; one only copied a line saying they are separated by gender. We don't know whether they are inside the shop or shared with the building.

No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Size is split: five posts called it roomy, one counting six or more four-tops and five or more two-tops, while two called it small or long and narrow with few tables. One explained that it spans two sections, so it looks small from one side. Another described a straight bar counter alongside regular tables.
  • Saltiness is split three to two: three found the food salty, one warning the broth may taste a bit salty to some, and two found it mild.
  • Waiting depends on timing. Two posts waited: one at a rainy weekday lunch peak with a long sign-up list, after which the house sent over free chicken nanban as an apology, and another saw a line on the way out from lunch. Four went at opening, before noon or at a quiet hour and sat straight down. Two mention a sign-up sheet at the entrance. Nobody gave a wait time in minutes.
  • Who people came with doesn't add up to a pattern: two went alone, one with a son, one with a wife, and a few with work colleagues. Many say it suits solo diners, but mostly as an impression.
  • Copied opening hours change over time. Seven posts up to 10 September 2026 give daily 11 am-9 pm with a 3-5 pm break and last orders at 2:30 and 8:30. Three posts from 18 September list weekdays only, one closed Saturdays and Sundays, the other Sundays and holidays. All of these are copied, so we can't say whether it opens on Saturdays now.
  • Prices come from August-September 2026 posts: 13,000-14,000 won for a bowl, 19,000 won for a set. No post reported a change, and only one post (15 August) lists the full menu.
  • Three posts copy the phone number 02-6411-6430. One says Naver booking is available, but nobody actually booked; one walked straight in without a reservation.
  • Fifteen Daum blog posts from 15 August to 24 September follow a similar pattern: the same style of title, menu description, house serving tips and review event, in roughly the same order. None discloses sponsorship, so we can't tell whether they were commissioned. Three say they paid their own way; two received a free side of chicken nanban.
