Ichigyu Seoulyeok-jeom
이치규 서울역점 Read as Japanese, ichi means 'one' or 'first' and gyu means 'beef' — this is a gyukatsu (beef cutlet) house; the posts don't say what the owners meant by the name.

Ichigyu's Seoul Station branch is a beef-cutlet and steak house in the basement food court of the LG Seoul Station Building, just outside Exit 10. You get a set (19,500 won) of sirloin cutlet fried only on the outside — still red within — or unbattered sirloin steak, and sear it a piece or two at a time on a small grill at your seat, starting with a pat of Isigny butter. Rice comes in a lidded crock with a paddle and is topped up on request. There are also dishes you don't grill: hamburg omurice, chop steak, curry, yakisoba napolitan. We read 31 posts from April to October 2026, and 29 of them landed between September 27 and October 16, 2026.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The meat isn't finished in the kitchen: all 31 posts grilled it themselves at the table. Staff light the burner when the food arrives, and one diner wrote that staff relit it unasked when the flame faded. When the plate gets sticky, you request a fresh one through the table kiosk. One parent warned that the burner runs hot enough to keep small hands away.
- Waits split: 8 posts waited, 9 walked straight in. Recorded waits were 10 minutes behind one party on a weekday evening, 15 minutes at Saturday lunch, 10–15 minutes as fifth in line at weekday lunch, and 20 minutes behind four parties at 1 pm on a weekend. Those who walked in came around 1 pm on weekdays, on weekday evenings, late on a Sunday, or near 11 am the day after a holiday. A CatchTable kiosk at the door takes your phone number and calls you when it's your turn.
- 24 posts walked over from Seoul Station, 1–3 minutes from Exit 10. One firmly advised using Exit 10, not Exit 9. Several came before or after catching a train.
- 13 posts called the portions generous, mostly meaning the rice: heaped high, more than some could finish before any refill.
4 more
- 8 posts ordered on the tablet or kiosk at their table.
- 6 posts praised the staff — bringing chopsticks the moment a neighbour dropped theirs, and changing grill fuel before anyone asked.
- Prices: cutlet or steak set 19,500 won, double cutlet 32,000, two-person set (two mains, two drinks) 42,000, Kirin draft 420 ml 8,000 — so a set and a beer is 27,500 won. 3 posts called it good value and none called it expensive. Many mention a receipt-review promotion that adds fried prawn, grilling cheese or shaved mochi.
- 3 posts booked ahead, through Naver among others. The phone number, 0507-1491-2737, is copied from the listing in many posts; one suggested calling for groups.

Only one post actually parked: a family drove in, paid the fee, and regretted there was no validation. The building's B2 rate — 1,000 won per 10 minutes, 6,000 per hour — is copied listing text in other posts.

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| In a basement | 17 of 31 posts |

| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 31 posts read) |
It's one floor below ground: 17 posts went down either the outdoor stairs beside the building or the escalator to the right of the lobby. One diner said the ceiling was high enough that it didn't feel like a basement at all.
We don't know about steps at the door or wheelchair and stroller access — nobody wrote about it, which isn't the same as there being none. The routes posts describe are the outdoor stairs and the indoor escalator; no one mentions a lift.
One post said the restroom isn't inside the restaurant but at the end of the building corridor. Separate men's and women's rooms appear only in copied listing text.
No one mentioned: Second floor · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

What we do not know
- Accounts of the room's size split: 3 posts called it spacious, 4 called it compact. Seating is two- and four-tops, pushed together for up to six.
- 4 posts found it quiet; one disagreed, saying the tables were packed close and it was noisy to talk.
- 27 posts list hours, nearly all copied from the listing: daily 11:00–21:30, break 15:00–17:00, last orders 14:00 and 20:30. One wrote an 11:30 opening and one wrote weekdays only. First-hand: one diner walked in at the 11 am opening, and another arrived one evening to find every steak and cutlet sold out for supply reasons — that post suggests calling before a late visit.
- The menu seems to have changed. The April 2026 post lists tenderloin cutlet (23,000 won), tantanmen and mentaiko cream udon; menus copied from September on show hamburg omurice, yakisoba napolitan and cold soba instead, with no tenderloin. Two October posts still name tantanmen and the like, apparently from stale listings. With only one April post, we can't say when it changed.
- The posts arrive in a burst: 29 of 31 went up between September 27 and October 16, 2026, repeating the same sequence — location and hours block, Isigny butter, review promotion, 'Seoul Station must-eat'. One post discloses a provided meal voucher, one tags itself self-paid, and the rest say nothing about who paid. Only one post had reservations about the food: chewy cutlet with bits that felt like sinew, and a firm omelette.
