A two-floor barbecue house in the Pimatgol alley behind the McDonald's near Exit 1 of Jongno 3-ga Station (30 Donhwamun-ro 5-gil). Every table has a large stone grill: you cook wagyu kkotsal, pork belly and spicy pork, keep kimchi stew going alongside, and finish by frying cheese rice from a tray of separated ingredients. Ten of the fourteen visit posts ordered the Asamyuk set for two — 65,000 won in posts up to 12 September 2026, 69,000 won from 13 September. We read 16 posts dated 20 March to 9 October 2026: 14 describe a visit, one only lists the place among neighbourhood picks, and one was a hotel post we set aside.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Staff or the owner usually grill for you: eight posts say so, while two say they only started the meat and left the rest to the diners. Two more posts note they got full service because it was quiet, and that at busy times you grill yourself.
- Leaf wraps are self-serve and unlimited — ten posts mention the salad bar. One counted eight kinds, including lettuce, perilla, red chard, red mustard, kale, chicory and angelica; others noted labels describing each green and dry-ice mist keeping the bar cold.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Second floor | 11 of 14 posts |

| In a basement | yes 0 · no 1 (of 14 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 3 of 14 posts |
| Separate restrooms | 2 of 14 posts |
Eleven posts describe the upstairs room. One counted about sixteen four-person grill tables downstairs and about ten upstairs; several say the second floor is partitioned and used for company dinners, and two found it entirely set for a group booking. One post was seated on the ground floor.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in. One mentions two entrances, front and back; several say the second floor is reached by an inside staircase. None mentions a lift.
Three posts say the toilets are inside the restaurant; two of them add there is one on each floor, separated by gender.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 15 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- The Asamyuk set went up in September 2026: four posts from 3 July to 12 September give 65,000 won, four from 13 September to 9 October give 69,000 won. A 22 June post says 56,000 won — whether a typo or the price then, we don't know. Five posts called it good value; none called it expensive.
- No post says it had to wait. Three booked ahead. Two mention a waiting area by the door with a drinks fridge, and one says there are waits on Friday evenings and weekends. That doesn't mean there is never a queue — just that nobody who queued wrote about it.
- Twelve posts give the same hours, 11:00–21:30, and nine say it closes on Mondays; one says Monday to Saturday with Sundays off, and one says every day. All of this is copied listing data, not checked in person. Five posts give the phone number 0507-1445-8296 and say Naver booking is available.
- Eleven posts landed between 1 September and 9 October 2026, and ten of them repeat the same phrases — 'Jongno company dinner', 'Seoul top-5 kimchi stew', 'guarding Pimatgol since 2014'. None discloses sponsorship, but we read them as possible promotional copy. Pork certification, TV appearances and house-made kimchi are the restaurant's own claims, and we don't rely on them.
