A charcoal pork grill with a yellow sign at 432 Samil-daero, ground floor, down the lane across from Nakwon Musical Instrument Arcade, a short walk from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga Station. The house water-ages its pork, and you order sets of aged belly, aged neck and kkodeul-sal to grill yourself over charcoal; every set comes with a black-pork kimchi stew. The two-person mixed set (450 g) is 44,000 won in posts from September 2026, and was 41,000 won in April. The most-ordered item is the 'dirty bomb' steamed egg (7,000 won), eaten in 22 of the visit posts. We read 30 posts dated 8 April to 14 October 2026; after setting aside 3 about other restaurants, we counted 26 of the remaining 27 as actual visits.

What sets it apart
- Eight posts mention outdoor tables out front for drinking-street style dining. On how many, three say very few ('only two round tables outside', 'only two spots'), while one describes tables running along the side of the building. One diner sat inside with the front fully open and called it half-outdoors.
- Expect to wait in the evening. Four posts say they waited; the only time given is about 20 minutes as first in line after 6 pm on a Friday (the same post also mentions the free egg dish for 30-minute waits). One post walked straight in; another notes the line had grown by the time they left. You write your name, party size and phone number on a whiteboard or list to the right of the door, and one post mentions waiting chairs. Five posts booked through Naver or CatchTable and were seated straight away.
- Eight posts noticed many foreign diners, one estimating about half the room; another describes a foreign couple at the next table chatting with their child. Two posts say the table QR code shows the menu in Korean, English, Chinese and Japanese.
- Seven posts say the meat comes thick-cut and seven call it juicy. The neck arrives as a thick slab you sear and then cut, and several posts describe wiping the grill with the strip of fat that comes on the plate. One post states plainly that you grill it yourself.

No post describes the floor from experience; '1st floor' appears only in the address. It reads like a street-level shop, but nobody actually confirms it.
Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is none.
Two posts say the toilet is inside the restaurant, which they appreciated for an outdoor-drinking area. Nobody says whether it is separated by gender.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 26 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on size split: four posts call it small or cramped, two call it roomier than expected with good spacing. The two that counted put it at about 9 indoor tables (3 round, 6 square).
- Prices have gone up. April 2026 posts list the two-person mixed set and the 530 g pork galbi set at 41,000 won each; from September both sets are 44,000 won. We only know the change happened between April and September. One post found that the prices in the QR menu images differed from what they were charged. A meal for two, set plus egg dish, comes to about 51,000 won in these posts.
- Opening hours appear in 20 posts, all copied from listings. Nine agree on Mon–Wed 11:00–22:00, Thu–Fri 11:00–23:00, Sat 13:30–23:00, Sun 13:30–22:00, last order an hour before close; two October posts say Saturday also opens at 11:00. Only one post says it is open every day of the year. Check before you go.
- Two posts describe walking from Exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga Station (under five minutes); most of the '125 m, two-minute walk' figures are copied directions. Nobody came by bus.
- Company: five posts with friends, two with a partner, two with family including children. None came as a work group; the private-hire and 8+ discount notices are copied.
- Phone: 0507-1388-5342 in 11 posts, 02-744-5342 in two, 0507-1440-5342 in one. Five posts booked via Naver or CatchTable; one found Naver booking closed for a Friday.
- Several posts copy the same coupon, review-event and corkage notices in the same order without disclosing sponsorship, and two September posts share near-identical wording, suggesting a commissioned template. One April post describing the mixed set as cheek, flower cut and kkodeul-sal contradicts every other account, so we did not count it as a visit. 'Water-ageing makes it tender' is the restaurant's own claim and we don't treat it as evidence.
