Mirak Hansik Buffet

미락한식뷔페 Hansik buffet means an all-you-can-eat Korean home-style buffet; the posts give no meaning for Mirak.

Compiled from 7 blog posts read in fullSources →

A Korean home-style buffet on the second floor of 118 Supyo-ro, on Songhae-gil near exit 5 of Jongno 3-ga station. You pay 10,000 won at the door and serve yourself a main that changes by weekday (spicy pork, chicken stir-fry, pork and fish cutlets, bulgogi) plus japchae, marinated crab, wrapping greens and cold buckwheat noodles. We read 19 posts from August 2025 to October 2026; 8 describe actually eating there. After the place appeared on the TV show 'Welcome, First Time in Korea?' on 26 March 2026, 8 posts recapping the episode followed (7 of them within three days); none were visits, so we did not count them. One post was about a different buffet with a similar name in Jongno 5-ga and was set aside.

Rows without a count: 5 of 6 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. Four posts call it roomy and one found it cramped. One mentions a large room with wide tables; a March 2026 visit with a parent, just after the weekday lunch rush, found it packed and had to squeeze in between trays. Two posts mention window seats for solo diners.
  2. Three posts describe going alone; one noticed plenty of other solo diners and another sat at a seat set aside for one. One visit was with a parent.
  3. Two posts say the seasoning was not salty, including the vegetable sides; none said it was.

The prices here are what bloggers wrote down in their posts, and they may have changed since. Check Naver Place for the current menu and prices. This list is not a menu board — it counts what bloggers actually ordered and ate. Check on Naver Place

Getting inside

Second floor4 of 7 posts
Separate restroomsyes 0 · no 1 (of 7 posts read)

The restaurant is upstairs: four of the visit posts say it is on the second floor, and one walked up the stairs. No one said whether there is a lift.

One post mentions climbing the stairs to the second floor, but no one says anything about steps at the entrance, a lift, or wheelchair or pushchair access. That means we don't know, not that there isn't any.

One post says the toilet is shared by men and women and may bother some people. No one says whether it is inside the restaurant or out in the building.

No one mentioned: In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 17 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

2026-03-274 posts in one day
2026-03-262 posts in one day

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Every post that gives a price says 10,000 won per person; one adds a cash-only book of ten tickets for 90,000 won. A copied Naver review from October 2025 says the price had just gone up to 10,000 won, but none of our posts say what it was before. One diner called the price reasonable for current prices.
  • Five visit posts give the same opening hours: weekdays 10:30-21:00 and Saturdays 10:30-18:00, and most say it is closed on Sundays. Three give last orders at 20:00 on weekdays and 17:00 on Saturdays. One post says it opens at 10:00. Most of these hours are copied from listings. One TV recap claimed lunch only, 11:00-14:30. That seems to come from the Jongno 5-ga buffet, so we left it out.
  • No one wrote about queuing, but four posts found it crowded: a large group, a packed lunch hour, a full room, an evening rush. One early visitor found plenty of seats. We don't know whether you ever have to wait in line.
  • Seven posts list the same phone number, 02-741-5110. The only word on reservations is one copied listing that says they are not taken. No one wrote about actually calling.
  • One post from July 2026, after two visits, says a strong mothball-like smell inside put them off going back. No other post mentions a smell.
