Jinsu Gopchang

진수곱창 Gopchang is grilled beef small intestine, the house specialty; no post explains the word Jinsu, though the signature platter 'Jinsu-seongchan' plays on the idiom for a lavish feast.

Jinsu Gopchang's Mullae branch, in a side street off Dorim-ro 133-gil, serves a mixed beef-offal platter (intestines, abomasum, heart, brisket) that you grill at the table. One post gives 39,800 won for two (400 g), and seven posts finished with fried rice. Hotpots and offal soups are also on the menu. Several posts say the side doors open on fine days for a street-stall feel. We read 17 posts from 14 July to 14 October 2026, 14 of them from actual visits; one post about the Iksan branch of the same chain was set aside.

Rows without a count: 5 of 5 posts.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.

What sets it apart

  1. This is written up as a place to go with friends: of nine posts that say who they went with, eight went with friends and one with a partner, mostly over soju or beer.
  2. Two posts say the intestines arrive par-grilled. Several mention staff explaining the order: heart and brisket first, intestines cooked longer.
  3. Of four posts that discuss price, three found it reasonable; one paid about 43,000 won for the two-person platter and two colas.
  4. Three posts call the portions generous (a stew enough for two or three, a full hotpot, 200 g per person that felt ample); one ate beforehand and declined to judge.
2 more
  1. Two posts got a free extra dish, acorn-jelly soup in one and watermelon punch in the other; some also got a yogurt drink on the way out.
  2. Two posts say it is walkable: about ten minutes from Mullae station, or 10 to 15 minutes from Sindorim. A copied '518 m from exit 7' line was not counted.

Getting inside

Toilet insideyes 0 · no 1 (of 13 posts read)
Separate restrooms1 of 13 posts

No post describes the floor from experience; the address says ground floor, but no one mentions stairs or a basement.

No post mentions a step at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. We do not know.

Only one post covers the toilets: just outside to the right, separate for men and women, and clean. No other post confirms it.

No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 15 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

  • Posts disagree on who grills: two say staff explain and you grill yourself (one slightly burned theirs on a strong flame), one says staff grilled it all.
  • Waiting depends on the hour. One post walked in at 4:30 pm on a holiday but saw three groups waiting when leaving; another found it nearly empty at 4:30 on a Friday. One post describes a CatchTable kiosk outside and free fried rice after 30 minutes' wait. No one reports how long the evening wait is.
  • One post was told tables are limited to two hours when full, and found that plenty.
  • Opening hours appear only in copied blocks. Five posts from August on agree: weekdays 4 pm to 1 am, weekends noon to 1 am with a 3 to 4 pm break. A 14 July post listed Mon to Thu 4 pm to 1 am and Fri to Sun 3 pm to 2 am; we cannot tell whether hours changed or it was miscopied. No post gives a closing day.
  • Three posts list the phone number 0507-1439-7888. One post booked through CatchTable and thought Naver booking also works.
  • Prices come from one 2 August 2026 post's menu (platter for two 39,800, offal soup 11,000, fried rice for two 4,000 won) plus 36,900 won for the chicken-intestine stew. No one gives prices for the hotpot or the noodles.
