PIKT Roastery's Mangwon branch is a roastery café in the half-basement of a red-brick building on a side street next to Mangwon Market. Several posts say it is the second shop after the Magongnaru original, and one says it opened in July 2026. You pick a bean at the counter — nutty, acidic, or decaf — for an americano (4,900 won) or latte (5,500 won), and most people add aged French toast (11,900 won), pistachio tiramisu (8,000 won) or matcha Basque cheesecake (7,500 won). We read 31 posts from 20 August to 16 October 2026; 30 describe an actual visit. 28 of the 31 landed within ten days, 7–16 October, almost all titled with the same 'Mangwon Market café' search phrases.

What sets it apart
- Despite being half underground, posts say it is bright: 13 mention the big windows and daylight. One notes that from the window bar you watch passers-by at ankle-to-knee height.
- Seating mixes a window-facing bar with two- and four-person tables; 10 posts mention both. One counted six bar seats and eight two-person tables. One post notes power outlets at the bar, handy for a laptop.
- The room is small: 5 posts call it not large or cosy, and none found it spacious, though several say the tables are not crammed together.
- Weekends fill up. 5 posts waited or saw a queue, four of them on weekends. One found it full, browsed the market for about 30 minutes and came back to a free seat; another got the last table at Saturday lunch but saw people waiting the whole time. Posts that went on weekdays mention no wait.

The address says ground floor, but the shop people describe is half a level down: 16 posts write of going down stairs or half a flight to get in. The entrance is the stair on the right side of the building, not the front, and some posts mistook the front window for the door or couldn't find the way in at first.
No post went in with a wheelchair or stroller, and none mentions a lift or ramp. With 16 posts describing stairs down to the door, we don't know whether there is any step-free way in — not that there isn't one, only that nobody wrote about it.
The toilet is inside the shop, per 9 posts. One says it is unisex; none say it is split by gender. Two posts liked the scent of the hand soap.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 31 posts we gathered, 1 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours appear in 17 posts and nearly all agree: Wednesday–Friday 11:00–19:00 (last order 18:30), Saturday–Sunday 11:00–21:00 (last order 20:30), closed Monday and Tuesday. Most are copied listings; one post read them off the handwritten sign on the door. One post says 19:00 every open day. A single post from 20 August 2026 gave 'daily 11:00–20:00, closed Tuesdays' — we can't tell whether the hours changed after that or it was copied wrong.
- Prices are consistent because many posts copy the menu board; only the vanilla latte differs (one post says 6,000 won, the rest 6,500). No post called it expensive, and one called the coffee reasonably priced. A drink plus a dessert runs roughly 12,000–19,000 won per person. Two posts copy a 1,000-won takeaway discount from the board.
- Many posts list the phone number, 0507-1330-7874, but none says whether the café takes reservations.
- The fig French toast (17,900 won) is an autumn special. Three posts found it sold out and none ate it, so we have no report on how it tastes.
- None of the 31 posts discloses sponsorship, but the 28 posted between 7 and 16 October repeat the same title phrases and the same shop blurbs, so they look like one commissioned batch. We treated those blurbs (weekly in-house roasting and so on) as copied text and counted only what each writer says they experienced.
