A Korean-style drinking house at 66 Poeun-ro, ground floor, near Mangridan-gil in Mangwon-dong. You come for bossam, savoury pancakes and hot pots with makgeolli and traditional liquors; the prices quoted most are 27,000 won for medium bossam, 20,000 won for the half-and-half pancake and 22,000 won for the brisket doenjang hot pot. One pair spent 68,000 won on bossam, a shrimp pancake, soju and draught beer. Most posts copy hours of 6 pm (5 pm at weekends) to 2 am. We read 30 posts from 26 August to 19 October 2026; 13 of them share the same wording and running order and read as commissioned copy, so we counted 17 as actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- A free fried filefish snack lands on the table as you sit down. Thirteen visit posts got it, two asked for refills and got them, and one complained their table never received any.
- Leave a receipt or photo review and you get grilled Spam. Five posts mention the offer; two actually took it and describe it arriving on a sizzling plate with a soft egg and ketchup.
- Evenings fill up. Two posts waited: one wrote their name on the list at 8 pm on a Sunday and got a call after about 15 minutes, the other saw a queue after 9 pm on a holiday. One walked straight in, and one had heard about long waits but got lucky. A group of four phoned ahead and had a table held for around 9 pm.
- Ordering alcohol is required. Two posts copied the menu notice saying so, and the same two noted that sides come only after a main, two at a minimum. One added a three-hour table limit at weekends, on holidays and when full.
4 more
- Large opening windows give a half-outdoor feel: six posts mention the window seats, and five mention terrace-style seats by the entrance.
- The menu includes a map of where ingredients come from — Majang-dong beef, Pyeongchang potatoes, Sunchang soybean paste, Cheongdo water parsley; four posts mention it.
- Seven posts found the portions generous — plenty of brisket in the hot pot, 'endless' clams in the steamed clams, and a couple who overate on hot pot and bossam.
- Three posts noted a wireless phone charger at every table.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

We don't know about floors: the address says ground floor, but no visitor described stairs or levels.
No post says whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in. That means nobody wrote about it, not that access is impossible.
Two posts say the toilet is inside the shop; one adds that it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 13 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on size split: one post found it roomy, two called it small with limited seats. One counted about six four-person tables plus a group table.
- Heat varies by dish: one post found the squid and pork stir-fry spicy, one said the kimchi stew was not spicy, and three called the hot pots only mildly peppery.
- The 'five minutes from Mangwon Station exit 2' line is mostly copied; one post described the walk itself as five to eight minutes. Nobody wrote about buses.
- Fourteen visit posts give the hours, almost all the same (weekdays 6 pm–2 am, weekends 5 pm–2 am, last order 1 am), but mostly copied from the listing. One post from 28 August 2026 had a 5:30 pm weekday opening. Nobody mentioned a closing day.
- Prices mostly agree, but the brisket stir-fry appears at 19,000 won on 5 October and 20,000 won on 9 October. The 20,000-won half-and-half pancake is described as topped kimchi-cheese and bulgogi-chive in three posts and as plain kimchi and chive in two. One table was billed about 113,000 won instead of 83,000 and had it corrected.
- The 13 templated posts repeat the same slogans and describe bossam with 'tangy kimchi' and the hot pot in an earthenware bowl, which doesn't match the visit posts (tofu and radish salad with the bossam, a pot on a burner). We did not count them. The limited-daily-bossam claim and a reported TV appearance are hearsay, recorded as such.
