Heki is a Japanese-style tonkatsu restaurant a few minutes' walk from exit 2 of Mangwon Station, in an alley near Mangwon Market (Donggyo-ro 9-gil 33). The mainstays are hirekatsu, a pork tenderloin set (15,500 won), and torikatsu, a chicken breast set (16,000 won). Rice, miso soup and pickled onion come first, and you dip the katsu in the salt, wasabi and truffle oil on the table. You pick your dish when you join the queue, either on CatchTable or at the door. The current shop is a relocation: two posts said it is bigger and has more seats than the old one. We read 30 posts, from 27 February to 19 October 2026; 21 of them describe a visit.

What sets it apart
- Expect a wait. Of the 21 visit posts, 17 mention queuing. The times they give: 56 minutes (signed up 17:14 on a Friday, 19 groups ahead), about an hour (weekday lunch, 36th in line), 1 hour 10 minutes (12:30 to 13:40 on a Thursday), an hour and a half in two posts, about two hours in two posts (e.g. 23rd at 16:10 on a Saturday, seated at 18:00), and 2 hours 20 minutes (number 82 at 15:30, seated at 17:50). One person arrived at 9:30 on a weekend morning and 13 groups were already signed up. Three posts say on-site sign-up opens at 8:30, four that CatchTable remote sign-up opens at 11:30, and one said noon.
- Once seated, the food arrives fast: you order when you join the queue, and one post explains the kitchen starts cooking after the shop phones to confirm you are coming. Four posts said the food came quickly; none said it was slow.
- It is not counter-only. Four posts describe tables for two and four alongside the counter; one counted 8 two-tops, 2 four-tops and 4 counter seats. One couple started at the counter and were moved to a table when one opened, and the solo diner liked having counter seats meant for one.
- Seven posts called the coating thin and crisp. Four said the meat was juicy; one said the loin katsu was not the juice-flooding kind. One noted the coating is thin enough to slip off when you pick a piece up.

Nobody described the floor or any stairs from experience; the '1st floor' in the address is copied listing text.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller fits. That is not a no; nobody wrote about it.
Only one post covers the toilet: not inside the shop but on the building's second floor, shared by men and women, reached through the main building entrance and half a flight up. We could not confirm it from other posts.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 24 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Heki has moved. A post from 10 October 2026 said the relocated shop was very spacious, and one from 14 October said it has far more seats than before. No one gave the old address or the date of the move. Even our earliest post (February 2026) is at the current address, so everything counted here is the current shop. Two posts called it spacious, one called it cosy.
- Opening hours: twelve visit posts copy the same listing — 11:30 to 20:30, closed Mondays and Tuesdays, a 15:00-17:00 break Wednesday to Friday, last orders 14:30 and 20:00. All of it is copied from the listing, not something anyone checked in person.
- Price: a set costs 15,500 won (hirekatsu) to 18,000 won (special hire or upper loin). Only the mixed set differs between posts: two from 16-17 October 2026 said 17,000 won, one from 9 October said 18,000. One post each gave 7,000 won for cold udon and 3,000 won for a drink.
- It seems to take only a waitlist, not bookings: CatchTable remote queuing or signing up at the door, and four posts said the shop phones you as your turn nears. Four posts copy the phone number 070-7773-9870.
- Six discarded posts review other tonkatsu shops and mention Heki only in comparison (one said an earlier visit, after waiting over an hour, was ordinary). One TV-feature-style post gave hours and dishes that match no other post, so we left it out.
