A sotdubu (pot-set tofu) shop in the lane from Mangwon Station exit 2 toward Mangwon Market, a 4–5 minute walk. Once you sit down, staff pour soy milk into a ceramic pot, set a timer, and about ten minutes later, when it has set into soft tofu, they add your choice of sauce (mapo, mala or jjamppong) and topping (pork, beef or seafood). Every sotdubu is 11,900 won, with beef 1,000 won extra; white rice comes with it, or swap to fried rice for 4,000 won (ham and egg) or 4,500 won (shrimp). What sets it apart
- All 18 posts that mentioned waiting said they waited. The times given were 5, 25, 40, 40, 50 and 50 minutes and two of about an hour. One couple registered at 6:20 on a Friday evening with eight parties ahead and got in at 7:10; another walked straight in at 7 on a weekday, with a line forming by 7:20. You put your name in on the device at the entrance or via CatchTable and browse the market meanwhile; one post says remote queuing opens at 11:30.
- It is small. All 11 posts that described the seating mention both a bar counter and tables, and 8 say the room is not large. The counter (about five seats) is right inside the door, with roughly four tables further in; one post counted five bar seats, one four-top and three two-tops, about 15 people in all. Five posts say the counter faces the kitchen, where they watched a self-turning wok or the flare-up when the jjamppong sauce is fried.
- Seven posts talked about saltiness and five called it salty, one saying they left half; the other two said it depends on the sauce. Heat depends on the sauce too: 10 posts called it spicy (mostly the jjamppong) and 3 said it was not (mapo or mala). Chili oil and pepper are on the table if you want more.

The registered address says ground floor, but three visitors wrote that the shop is on the second floor and two described climbing stairs to the entrance and the queue device. Expect stairs to get in.
No one said whether a wheelchair or stroller can get in, or whether there is a lift or ramp. That means we don't know, not that there isn't one. Two posts mention climbing stairs.
One visitor wrote that the toilet is inside the shop. No one said whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours here are all copied from listings. Of 16 posts, 14 give 11:30–21:30 daily and 2 give an 11:00 start; all agree on a 15:00–17:00 break and last order at 20:30. Several repeat a notice that it closes early when the soy milk runs out, and one visitor was turned away three times before getting in on the fourth try.
- Five posts copied the phone number 0507-1313-7032, but no one booked by phone; instead you join the queue on site or remotely through CatchTable.
- On price, one post called it good value for Seoul and another gave value two stars out of five. With beef and a fried-rice swap, two posts paid 16,900 and 17,400 won for one bowl.
- Seven posts repeat the same phrases in the same order: 'Korea's first sotdubu specialist', 'nine combinations', 'other places only do mapo', 'Dumong Mangwon flagship'.
