Basak Macha
바삭마차 Basak is the Korean sound of something crisp, and macha means a cart, as in a pojangmacha street stall: a crisp-fry cart.

A handmade-cutlet stall at the entrance to section C of Mangwon Market (64 World Cup-ro 13-gil). Pork-loin cutlets are 3,500 won a piece; tenderloin, large loin, shrimp and mozzarella roll cutlets are 4,500, and sauces are mostly 500 won extra. We read 20 posts from May to October 2026; 9 describe actually buying and eating here. Seven of those nine took the food away, eating at home, in the Han River park or on the street. The other 11 are entries in market or TV-chef listicles, and we did not count them.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- All 8 posts that discussed the batter called it crisp. One that carried a cutlet to the Han River said it stayed crisp even cold; a regular described a coarser, more lively crunch than usual cutlets. One post said the batter sometimes separated from the tenderloin when cut.
- All 7 posts that mentioned takeaway took their cutlets away. One that ate at home later said the batter went a little soggy and greasy towards the end; another reheated in an air fryer. On greasiness the posts split one to one.
- Five posts say there is seating inside, at the back of the stall. Two of them call it small: only a few seats, not very roomy. One says diners fetch their own plate and knife and clear up afterwards.
- All 3 posts that mentioned waiting found no line: bought straight away, ordered without waiting, had the place to themselves. One waited about five minutes for the order. One writer noted the contrast with the lines at nearby market stalls.
1 more
- Both posts that weighed the price found it fair, one calling the 4,500-won tenderloin good for the money. Two posts also called the taste ordinary, given how good cutlets have become everywhere.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
No post describes the floor from experience; there is only the '1F' in the address and the fact that it is a market-alley stall.
Nobody mentioned a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is none.
No post mentions a toilet here; other posts only refer to the market's shared public toilets.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 19 posts we gathered, 10 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Four visit posts give opening hours as 10:30 to 21:00 daily, but every one of them copied the shop's listing. On closures, one says none and another says the Lunar New Year and Chuseok holidays themselves.
- None of the nine visit posts says how they got there; 'six minutes' walk from Mangwon Station exit 2' appears only in a copied listing.
- Companions show up only as 'we' or 'with my sister', so no pattern emerges. We can't say whether it suits solo shoppers or groups.
- Two posts copy the phone number 0507-1335-4486. Nobody wrote about booking or ordering by phone.
- Eleven of the 20 posts are market or TV-chef listicles. Phrases like 'eight years of Blue Ribbon' or 'domestic Hanton pork' are the shop's own claims copied by these posts, and we did not treat them as evidence.
