Hanu Deurim
한우드림 Hanwoo is Korea's native beef cattle, and 'deurim' reads both as the English word 'dream' and as the Korean for 'offering' — one blogger titled her post 'what do they offer?'.

Hanwoo Dream's flagship sits at 297 Gosanja-ro in Seongdong-gu, between Wangsimni and Majang stations near the Doseon intersection. It serves dinner only, in two reserved seatings at 6pm and 8:20pm, and has one menu: the 110,000-won-per-person beef course — every post that gave a price gave that figure. It opens with raw beef and water-parsley tartare on mini gimbap, then staff grill the day's cuts at your table, breaking them up with beef curry, a stew with rice and a mini skirt-steak burger before closing with kimchi ramyeon. We read 29 posts dated 18 August to 18 October 2026. We set aside 8 that were about the Sinsa or Samseong branches or only linked to this one, did not count 4 that only introduced it or gave a star rating, and counted 17 as actual visits.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- You don't grill. Of the 17 visits, 13 say staff or the owner cooked everything at the table from start to finish. Several describe finished pieces being moved onto a small warmer or a cast-iron pot over a tealight so they stay hot; medium-rare is the default and they'll change it if asked; one diner noted they always pause so you can take photos first. One post says both that staff grilled and that they picked and grilled their own, so we didn't count it either way.
- You need a reservation. 13 posts booked through Catchtable, and two say flatly that walk-ins and same-day bookings aren't accepted. How hard it is varies: one says the 6pm slot sold out the moment it opened while 8:20 stayed open for hours, one booked about two weeks ahead, one advises waiting for slots to open at noon on the 15th of the previous month — and one found it easy.
- You can't go in before your slot. One couple arrived 30 minutes early for 8:20 and waited outside until they were shown in at 8; another says doors open for the second seating around 8:10. One post liked that the table was already set on arrival so there was no waiting. No one describes a queue.
- Almost every visit mentions the quantity — 15 of the 17. One post counts about 600g of beef for two; others say it filled them up more than a buffet, or that it's roughly double what similarly priced beef omakase places serve. The one couple who were merely 'comfortably full' add that they are very big eaters.
5 more
- They'll pack up leftovers. 7 posts took home an uneaten burger or meat; one diner asked them to grill only half the beef and the kitchen cooked the rest and boxed it.
- It's roughly a ten-minute walk from Wangsimni station exit 2. Six posts walked from the station, mostly quoting ten minutes (one says eight to ten). One says the route passes the Wangsimni gopchang alley, one that Sangwangsimni station is about as close, and one that the Doseon intersection bus stop is a minute away.
- 7 posts call the staff friendly, most often because they explained each cut and what to pair it with. One enjoyed the small talk while they grilled without finding it intrusive; another was given a glass of wine and seaweed soup on her birthday.
- 6 posts drank wine or note it's sold on site. Corkage is 30,000 won a bottle; one post lists the house Matsu El Pícaro at 40,000 won a bottle and 15,000 won a glass. Soju, beer, draught beer, highballs, sake and whisky are also mentioned. Two posts found tea or a teapot already on the table.
- 6 posts say the curry, stew and ramyeon arrive just as the fatty beef starts to feel heavy; one says it never felt greasy. One wished there were fewer carb dishes, another that one of them were something fresher.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
From the station
It's roughly a ten-minute walk from Wangsimni station exit 2. Six posts walked from the station, mostly quoting ten minutes (one says eight to ten). One says the route passes the Wangsimni gopchang alley, one that Sangwangsimni station is about as close, and one that the Doseon intersection bus stop is a minute away.
Getting inside
| Second floor | 7 of 17 posts |
|---|---|
| In a basement | yes 0 · no 6 (of 17 posts read) |
| Toilet inside | 1 of 17 posts |
The ground floor has a handful of tables; upstairs is private rooms. 7 posts mention the second floor. Most count about five tables downstairs (one says four, one six); one describes an 8-seat and a 4-seat room upstairs, and a group of seven sat in the 8-seat one. Six posts ate on the ground floor, so it isn't a basement. Three call the place small, though two say the tables aren't cramped.
No one says whether there's a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or pushchair can get in — that means we don't know, not that it's fine. One post says the upstairs rooms and toilet are reached by stairs; none mentions a lift. No post describes going with children.
The toilet is upstairs: one post says climbing the stairs brings you to a restroom and a separate hand-washing sink. Nobody says whether it is split by gender.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 21 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Who went: three were team dinners or groups of four, three were couples marking an occasion, one went with her mother. Birthdays and anniversaries come up a lot; one post says noting a birthday on Catchtable now gets you seaweed soup and a drink.
- Opening hours: 6 posts list Mon–Sat 6pm–10:20pm and 8 say closed Sundays, but all of it is copied from listings. In practice several posts describe just two reserved seatings, 6pm and 8:20pm. No one mentions lunch.
- Two phone numbers appear: 02-6080-8600 (4 posts) and 0507-1469-8600 (3). Many posts say bookings are Catchtable-only, so we don't know whether phone reservations work.
- Other restaurants share the name. Posts about the Sinsa branch (2F, 62 Gangnam-daero 152-gil; 80,000- and 120,000-won courses) and the Samseong butcher-restaurant aren't about this place and weren't counted. Some check-ins point to 20 Majang-ro 39-gil, and one diner warns that one of the two addresses is an office. Claims that the owner, a licensed wholesaler, buys at auction himself, the 1++ No.9 grade and the celebrity-chef endorsement come from the table mat, the menu or hearsay, so we didn't rely on them.
