PEI HONG LOU
페이홍러우 원그로브점 Peihongreou Wongeurobeu-jeom One post writes the name as 北紅樓 and explains that Pei stands for Peking duck, the house signature, while Hong Lou means a red building, a sign of luck and prosperity.

Pei Hong Lou is a Chinese restaurant on the second floor of One Grove Mall, building A, in Magok, next to VIPS. It is known for Peking duck (120,000 won), with an all-day course A at 58,000 won per person and noodles and fried rice from about 10,000 won. It has many private rooms, and most visitors went as families and took one. We read 30 posts from 9 July to 15 October 2026. Six of them describe an actual meal; we set aside 23 that were template-written promotions or introductions, and threw out one that was about a different restaurant.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- There are a lot of private rooms. All six visit posts mention them. One says the front of the restaurant is all rooms, with ordinary tables round a corner at the back. Another booked for four and got a windowless room; the rooms with windows were only for larger groups (the writer remembered eight or more). That post adds there is no room charge, just a minimum spend per person.
- Three posts went with children. One was brought children's cutlery, one says the child did not need their own course in a four-person room, and one was seated at a large round table because of the babies. Nobody mentioned high chairs.
- One post brought its own wine. On a March 2026 visit it used a corkage-free coupon and three bottles per table were free, with a note to call ahead since that may change. Other posts' mentions of three free bottles or unlimited corkage for members are hearsay or copied promotions.
- Two posts say you order from a tablet or kiosk at the table.
1 more
- One post found the course portions small: three or four pieces of beef sweet-and-sour and noodles gone in about three bites. No other post discussed portions.

Parking
1 posts say you can park. None say you cannot.

Of four posts that touch on parking, one actually drove, parked in the mall basement and took the lift up. The free-parking terms appear only second-hand and differ: one hour from 10,000 won up to five hours (July), two hours from 30,000 and three from 50,000 won (September), and simply three hours free (October).

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Lift to the floor | 1 of 6 posts |
|---|
The restaurant is on the mall's second floor, per the address; the only first-hand account is one post that took the lift up from the car park. Nobody says whether the restaurant itself has more than one level.
Nobody says whether a wheelchair or pushchair gets in or whether there is a step at the door. That means we don't know, not that there isn't access. One post took the mall lift to the second floor.
Nobody mentions where the toilets are or whether they are separate for men and women.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 29 posts we gathered, 23 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Of five posts that discussed price, two called it expensive. Noodles and rice run 10,000 to 17,000 won, the course 58,000 won per person, and a whole duck 120,000 won. The 10% member discount and points are copied from the restaurant's promotion.
- No post reports waiting. One went at 5 pm on a weekday and found a table quickly; nobody says what peak lunch or dinner is like. Two posts booked ahead, and one says the Peking duck needs a day's notice.
- The two-minute walk from Magok station exit 2 is copied from the listing; no visit post says it arrived by subway. One of them drove.
- Five posts give opening hours, all copied from the listing: four say 10:30 to 22:00, and only the earliest, from 9 July 2026, says 11:00 to 22:00. Two give last orders at 21:00. The no-break-time claim is also copied, and nobody lists a closing day.
- Two posts give different phone numbers (010-3075-8528 and 0507-1321-2877); we can't tell which is current. Posts mention booking through Naver or CatchTable.
- Nine near-identical posts appeared on 14 and 15 October 2026, with the same landmarks in the same order, the same four hashtags, and not one price, time or party size. There are also nine generic 'how to pick a Magok restaurant' posts and four posts on a 'deep taste of Chinese food' template. We counted none of them.
