Jecheorine Pocha Magok-jeom
제철이네포차 마곡점 Jecheol means 'in season' — Jecheori-ne is 'the in-season folks' place', a pocha (Korean street pub) that, as one post puts it, sells only seasonal seafood.
Compiled from 17 blog posts read in fullSources →
A street-side pocha at 18 Magokdong-ro 3-gil, with yellow tables set out on the pavement in front. Three posts say it opened around September 2026. Live prawns salt-grilled in a pot at your table cost 59,000 won a kilo, peeled raw prawns 30,000 won for a half plate, and gizzard shad 35,000 won; you order by scanning a QR code on the table. One writer came by public transport (five minutes' walk from Exit 3 of Magok Station). We read 30 posts dated 25 September to 15 October 2026, 18 of them from people who actually went. We set aside one post about a different branch (the original near Gangseo-gu Office), and did not count ten templated posts published on 14 October or one roundup that compiled store info without visiting.

Rows without a count: 2 of 6 posts.
Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to wait for an outdoor table in the evening. Ten posts either queued or saw a queue. Two give times: 10 minutes, and 15–20 minutes. In the latter, CatchTable showed 110 minutes for outside and 20 for inside, yet they were seated in 15–20; sign-up was on site, not an online booking. Two posts that arrived at 4–4:30 pm walked straight in — one saw a queue form after 5:30, the other saw it fill at office closing time. One post says the queue machine is at the left entrance and there are chairs for people waiting.
- Seating is split between the pavement and the indoor room, and the wait is almost all for the pavement. Thirteen posts sat outside or described the outdoor area. Four say that while outside was full, indoors was walk-in, empty, quiet or had plenty of free tables. One group of four was squeezed onto a six-seat table with three strangers and moved inside; the same post says outdoor tables have a 2½-hour limit. One post found tables jammed too close to be comfortable, another found it loud when full.
- Nine posts say you order via the QR code on the table. Staff bring a salad and a bottle of water to start; after that it is self-service — one post says dishes, sauces and glasses are outside and side dishes are at an indoor self-bar. Four posts went back to the self-bar for more. One had heard it is awkward to tap the QR code while wearing gloves for peeling prawns.
- Posts disagree on portions. Five found them generous — two kilos was too much for four women, one kilo would do three, plenty for two. Two found them small: not enough for three so they added ramyeon, and one doubted the 'kilo' was really a kilo.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 17 posts read) |
|---|
No one described which floor the indoor room is on. The address says 1F, and most posts talk about the pavement seating. The one post saying the shop has two floors is an uncounted templated post, and another that mentions going up to the second floor is about the original branch near Gangseo-gu Office. This does not mean there are no stairs — only that nobody wrote about it.
No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether anyone got in with a wheelchair or pram. 'Wheelchair accessible' appears only in store info one post copied, so we do not rely on it.
One post says the toilet is not in the shop but inside the next building (and was clean). Separate men's and women's toilets or an accessible toilet appear only in copied store info; no one described them first-hand.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 28 posts we gathered, 11 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
| 2026-10-14 | 10 posts in one day |

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opening hours come only from copied info, and they disagree. Four posts (28 Sept–11 Oct 2026) say daily 15:00–01:00; two (30 Sept and 1 Oct) say Mon–Thu 15:00–01:00, Fri 15:00–02:00, Sat 12:00–02:00, Sun 12:00–01:00. A roundup and the templated posts from 10 October on list weekdays 14:00–01:00 and weekends 13:00–02:00; we cannot tell whether the hours changed. No post mentions a closing day.
- Only one post gives a total: 50,000–100,000 won for two (September 2026). Otherwise we have menu prices only — prawn grill 59,000 won per kilo, raw prawns 30,000 half / 54,000 full, shad 35,000, prawn ramyeon 7,000. One post thought it good value.
- Two phone numbers circulate: four posts give 0507-990-7542, while the ten templated posts of 14 October give 010-8804-2165. One post says there was no online booking, only on-site queueing; two guessed that groups might be able to book by phone.
- Ten posts published on 14 October 2026 share one template, so we did not count them: identical phone/hours/amenities blocks and a pasted review-count widget, titles tagged with other neighbourhoods such as Mapo and Mangwon, and not a single price. Seven of them claim to have eaten yellowtail or steamed oysters — dishes other posts were told would only start in late October.
