Sokcho Bulgeun Daege
속초붉은대게 Sokcho is the crab port on Korea's east coast, and bulgeun daege means red snow crab, which here is honge. One writer pointed out, amused, that the sign says daege while the crab on the table is honge.

Sokcho Bulgeun Daege is a red snow crab (honge) house on the ground floor of the Sinil Apartments shopping block in Junggye-dong, about five minutes' walk from Sanggye Station. There is essentially one dish: steamed crab sets of three crabs for two (60,000 won), five for three (92,000) or seven for four (124,000), each with crab fritters, a crab doenjang stew and fried rice in the shell. The crab arrives fully cut so the meat slides out. Ten posts finished with the crab ramyeon (7,000 won), and eight went with family. Six posts said they waited: 30 minutes at about 7 pm on a Saturday, 30 minutes on a Saturday over Parents' Day weekend, and one who came at 5:20 pm around Christmas said to expect 30 minutes to an hour. Names go in a notebook, and one writer mentioned a heater in the waiting spot. One regular never waited on weekday evenings, and another walked straight in at the weekend noon opening.

One post says they walked into the shop on the ground floor. Several mention passing the crab tanks out front; no one mentions seating on another floor.
We don't know whether there is a step at the door or whether a wheelchair or stroller gets in. That isn't a no; no one wrote about it. One post mentions high chairs.
One writer said the toilet is the shared one in the shopping block. Separate men's and women's toilets appear only in copied listing info, which we don't count.

What we do not know
- Prices rose once: a seven-crab set was 115,000 won in November 2024 and 124,000 from December. The set prices stayed at 60,000, 92,000 and 124,000 won through May 2026. An October 2026 post says the crab price has gone up because of costs at source, but gives no figures, so we don't know the current price. Nine posts called it good value, one found it pricier than expected, and two didn't decide.
- Delivery used to be available, but a March 2026 post says it has stopped. A June 2026 writer ordered by phone and picked up, and got the side dishes and crab doenjang stew packed too.
- Eleven visit posts give hours, and all agree on Mondays closed. Seven list Tue, Wed, Thu and Sun 12:00-22:00 and Fri-Sat 12:00-23:00; three lump Tue-Sun as 12:00-22:00; one gives 23:00 every day. Six say it opens when Monday is a public holiday. Many of these are copied from the listing.
- We saw no batch of templated promo posts. Five of the 24 posts aren't visit records, though: two top-ten lists (one a scraped Naver widget), a map of links, one info-only post, and one takeout eaten at home. We left them out of the counts.
