Wonjo Sunhuine Bindaetteok is the mung-bean pancake shop inside Gwangjang Market's food alley (Jongno 32-gil 5). Pancakes are fried on a griddle out front and stacked high; you either sit inside or buy from a separate takeaway line. Posts from September 2026 on give 6,000 won for a mung-bean pancake, 4,000 won for a meat patty and 16,000 won for the modeum plate of two pancakes and one patty; there is also yukhoe, octopus tangtangi, mini gimbap and makgeolli. What sets it apart
- Expect a line. Six posts waited, and those that timed it give 10, 20, 30 and 30 minutes; the 30-minute waits were a Friday at 7 pm and the October 9 holiday, the 20-minute one a weekend lunch. Three posts note separate lines for eating in and for takeaway. One says there is no app or sign-up sheet, you just stand in line. Two posts walked straight in, one of them just after the lunch rush.

- Four October 2026 posts say the shop was remodeled and is roomier and cleaner than before; none says when. Four posts call it clean; one August visit disagreed, describing heat and flies.
- Prices went up: the mung-bean pancake was 5,000 won in a March 2026 post and 6,000 won from September 2026. Five posts called it good value; no visit post called it expensive.
- Five posts copied opening hours from listings: four say 10 am to 9 pm, one from June 2026 says 9 am to 9 pm; four give last order at 8:30 pm. No post mentions a closing day.
- The phone number 02-2264-5057 appears only once, copied from a listing. No post mentions reservations; one says it is first come, first served in line.
- One post saw walls full of TV-appearance autographs. The claim that Tim Burton and other foreign celebrities visit is hearsay, and we did not count it.
- The Sunhuine Bindaetteok name is also used by a dakhanmari restaurant in Dongdaemun (Jongno 40ga-gil 20) and a Namdaemun Market shop.
