A snack shop at a fork in the food alley near the east gate of Gwangjang Market, Jongno 5-ga. It is built around bite-size gimbap dipped in mustard sauce (4,000 won), with rice-cake tteokbokki (3,000 won), mung-bean pancakes, fish cakes and even raw beef — most of the market's staples under one roof. A set of pancake, gimbap and tteokbokki is 13,000 won. What posts keep returning to is that you sit indoors rather than on a stall bench in the aisle. We read 30 posts from February 22 to October 15, 2026; 24 of them record actually eating here.

What sets it apart
- This is where people come when they want a real seat instead of a stall bench. Eight posts say they ate in the indoor hall, several explicitly because they didn't want to squeeze onto the outdoor stools, and two (August–September 2026) mention air-conditioning. One post describes the tables as mostly two- to four-seaters.
- The 13,000-won set is a bundle, not a deal. Two posts say they expected a discount and found it equals the three items bought separately — 4,000 + 3,000 + 6,000 won.

There seems to be no parking of its own. One visitor says to find a lot nearby since it's inside the market; other 'no parking' lines are copied listings. The two posts that came by car parked at the Jongmyo public lot and on the street by Bangsan Market.

We don't know the floor layout. The address lists floors 1–2 and one roundup repeats a claim of upstairs seating, but no visitor wrote which floor they sat on.
No one wrote about steps at the entrance or wheelchair or stroller access. Posts warn the market aisles are crowded, but say nothing about the shop's door.
Only one post mentions the toilet: inside the shop, and as far as the writer remembers, unisex. Nobody else wrote about it.

Of the 26 posts we gathered, 4 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- Opinions on the tteokbokki portion differ: two posts found it small (four or five pieces), another said the pieces are big enough to fill you up.
- Several posts say it is near Exit 7 of Jongno 5-ga Station, mostly copied from listings; only one describes actually arriving by subway (walking over from Dongmyo).
- Waiting is unclear: one post walked straight in on a weekday evening, another says there can be a short wait at peak times, and nobody recorded how long they waited. One found the hall nearly full.
- Eight posts list hours of 09:00–21:00, all copied from listings; three add that it closes early when food runs out. No one mentions a closing day.
- Two posts give the phone number 02-2273-8330. Nobody says whether reservations are taken. One post notes that a search turns up two shops of this name; we can't tell how the other one is related.
- Prices were the same in February and in September–October 2026 (gimbap 4,000 won, tteokbokki 3,000 won). Five posts call it reasonably priced. Other prices, such as 23,000 won for raw beef, come from a single copied menu list. One post paid with Onnuri market vouchers.
- Four posts say the gimbap, and the shop with it, used to go by 'mayak gimbap' ('drug gimbap') before the name was dropped; that happened before our earliest post, so we can't date it. Claims of operating since 1975 or for 40-plus years are repeated from the shop and tourism listings.
