Hanamdong's Jeongdong branch is a Korean-beef restaurant on the ground floor of the Jeongdong Building annex on Jeongdong-gil, in Jung-gu, Seoul. For a meal there is gomtang made from top-grade beef cows (19,000 won), knee-cartilage soup (25,000), mixed gomtang (28,000) and a sea-bream rice pot (38,000). Larger dishes include sliced shank with cartilage (65,000), eobok jaengban hot pot (109,000) and short-rib suyuk. On one side, tables line a wall of glass; the middle and back are rooms screened with lattice. Most posts came here for family gatherings or to meet the in-laws. We read 30 posts published between 1 and 19 October 2026, and 28 of them describe actually eating here. Twenty-six ordered the sea-bream rice. Only two disclose sponsorship and one says the writer paid. Still, so many repeat the same info block and the same set of dishes that we read a lot of this as promotional copy.

What sets it apart
- Twenty-five posts mention the private rooms. One describes a row of lattice-screened rooms. Another says four six-person rooms can be opened into one for 24. Not everyone got a room: one writer couldn't photograph them because they were fully booked, and another found them full on a Saturday evening. Seventeen posts sat at the window tables in the hall, looking out through the glass at the trees on Jeongdong-gil.
- Seven posts say the seasoning is not heavy. One calls it just right and not salty; another says older diners will like it. Four say the beef has no gamey smell. No post calls the food salty, and one warns off anyone who wants strong flavours.

Five posts drove and parked in the Jeongdong Building basement garage. One got three free hours because it was a public holiday. Another says time beyond that cost 1,000 won per 10 minutes, or 6,000 won an hour, which felt fair. Almost every post repeats the free-parking notice (two hours on weekdays, three on weekends). That is copied info, so we don't count it, and one copied version gives a different overage charge of 3,000 won.

No post says whether there is a step at the entrance or whether anyone got in with a wheelchair or stroller. Nobody mentions lifts or stairs either. Four posts simply note that it is on the building's ground floor. One family walked a stroller to a nearby museum but said nothing about the restaurant door. That means nobody wrote about access, not that it is a problem.
None of the 30 posts says where the toilets are or whether they are separated by sex.

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 2 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.
We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes queuing. Ten went with a reservation. One family arrived early and was asked to wait a moment, and one post notes a waiting area outside. We don't know how long a walk-in would wait.
- Twenty posts list opening hours, all copied from the restaurant's own info. Most agree on 11:00 weekdays and 11:30 weekends, closing at 22:00 with last orders at 21:00. The afternoon break is split: 13 say 15:00–17:30 and four say 15:00–17:00. From actual visits, one family went in at 17:30 and another booked for 17:00 because the break ended then.
- Five posts call it expensive. One says the prices made them flinch; another says it is not a cheap place. A meal starts at 19,000 won for gomtang. The short-rib suyuk is listed at 75,000 won in six posts and 79,000 won in four over the same few weeks, so we can't tell which is current. A group of four paid 268,000 won for five dishes; a six-person family's five dishes came to just over 300,000 won.
- More than 20 posts give the same phone number, 0507-1355-8324. Rooms are booked through Naver Reservation or CatchTable. One post that looked into first-birthday parties found booking very hard and an extra table-setting fee. That writer never ate here, so we don't count it.
- All 30 posts landed within 19 days, and they repeat the same info block and the same combinations of dishes. Seven ordered suyuk, sea-bream rice, mixed gomtang and cartilage soup; three ordered eobok jaengban, short-rib suyuk, beef jeon, rice pot and gomtang. So we ignored the recommendations and counted only what writers actually describe experiencing.
