A small Korean-Chinese restaurant at 90 Yangnyeongsi-ro, Dongdaemun-gu, in a lane at the edge of Gyeongdong and Yangnyeongsi markets. People come for the yukmi ganjjajang — noodles with a separate dry-fried sauce of minced pork and onion, 9,000 won a head with a two-portion minimum — and for sweet-and-sour pork stir-fried in its sauce (25,000 won); a single bowl is the yukmi jjajang at 8,000 won. It opens for four hours at lunch and closes Mondays and Tuesdays. We read 30 posts dated 30 January 2026 to 13 October 2026; 17 record an actual meal, the other 13 are multi-restaurant lists or write-ups.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- Expect to queue. Of the 17 visit posts, 13 say they waited and one, on a weekday lunch, says there was no wait. The waits recorded are 10, 10, 10 and 30 minutes, an hour, over an hour, and an hour and twenty minutes. One couple arriving around 1 p.m. on the first day of the Chuseok holiday counted more than ten parties ahead; another found a queue at 11:20 on a weekday. Several posts describe a sign-up sheet at the door where you write your party size, name and order in advance, and three say the kitchen stopped taking orders because ingredients ran out before last order.
- Because orders go on the waiting list, three posts say food arrived soon after they sat down; none complain of slow service. Three posts also mention chairs outside for those waiting.
- It is tiny. Fourteen posts call it cramped. Where seats are counted, five posts say 12, one says 12 to 14, one says about seven two-person tables, and a summer 2025 visit says about four tables. Several posts note the tables are pushed together, so you may end up sharing with strangers.
- The jjajang is not sweet. Nine posts say it has little or no sweetness and none call it salty — six say it isn't, and one found the bean paste salty on its own but mild once mixed into the noodles. The two posts that mention sweetness are both about the sweet-and-sour sauce, and one notes you can ask for it less sweet. One post warns that fans of a punchier jjajang may find it bland.
4 more
- The sweet-and-sour pork is neither poured nor dipped but stir-fried together with its sauce. Eight posts call the batter crisp and five say the pork pieces are thick. Writers keep describing the sauce as clinging to the meat rather than pooling. One post alone describes it as chewy glutinous-rice batter.
- Portions divide opinion: three posts found them large — one says two portions of ganjjajang would feed three — while one summer 2025 visit found them small and recommends the large size or extra rice.
- Where companions are mentioned, five went with family, three as a couple, one with a friend; two posts brought children.
- Four posts mention friendly service — one notes a single server handling the room while very busy, and another was allowed a single ganjjajang portion on a weekend after asking.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.
Getting inside
| Toilet inside | yes 0 · no 1 (of 17 posts read) |

Nobody says what floor it is on or whether there are stairs. We don't know.
Nobody mentions a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller — we don't know, which is not the same as saying there is a problem. Posts do repeatedly say the room is small and the tables close together.
Only one post mentions the toilet: you take a key and walk down the alley to the right, so it is outside the restaurant. Nobody says whether it is separated by gender or how big it is.
No one mentioned: Second floor · In a basement · Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 30 posts we gathered, 13 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- No post describes actually arriving by subway or bus. Walking times such as nine minutes from Cheongnyangni Station exit 1 or 13 from Jegi-dong Station exit 2 are copied information and we did not count them.
- Fifteen visit posts give opening hours, mostly copied from info blocks: 13 agree on 11:00–15:00 and all 15 on Monday–Tuesday closing. Last order is 14:30 in six and 14:50 in one. Some list posts give different hours (11:30–15:30, or closed only Tuesdays) and we did not count those. Posts note it can close early when ingredients run out.
- Prices are consistent across the September–October 2026 posts. Two people sharing two portions of yukmi ganjjajang and a sweet-and-sour pork pay 43,000 won. One post calls the prices reasonable; another says the 20,000-won seafood jjamppong may feel expensive next to the rest.
- Six posts give the phone number, 02-969-7787. Nobody reports making a reservation; one post's line about bookings being cancelled after 15 minutes reads as copied promotional text and we did not count it — everyone else signed the waiting list.
- One info block in a post about a summer 2025 visit says children are not admitted, but that is copied text and we did not count it. Two posts from September–October 2026 went in and ate with their children. Check before going with kids.
- Seven visit posts from 14–26 September 2026 reproduce the same apparently house-supplied lines about the chef's 60 years of training under an overseas-Chinese master and pork bought fresh each day. None disclose sponsorship. We counted what they ate but not those lines. Four identically titled list posts from 6–7 October were not counted. Stories of an earlier name and a change of owners also appear only as hearsay, so we did not count them either.
