Ilmi Ganjang Gejang
일미간장게장 Ilmi (一味) means 'one flavor' or 'a singular taste'; ganjang gejang is raw crab marinated in soy sauce, and Hanchunsang is the operating company's name.

A soy-marinated crab and blue-crab house at the mouth of the Jangan-dong food alley in Dongdaemun-gu (7 Janghan-ro 24-gil). We read 30 posts from November 2024 to October 2026; 14 describe an actual meal there. Crab is served by weight: a November 2025 menu showed 75,000 won for medium, 90,000 for large, 120,000 for extra-large, and 25,000 per extra crab. People also ordered crab stew, steamed crab, soy-marinated shrimp and roe rice, and five posts mention a soybean stew that comes with the meal. We set aside three posts about Seosan Ganjang Gejang, the neighbour that shares the same street address.

Counted from what bloggers wrote in their posts; we did not confirm it with the restaurant. Where the values differ, it may be a change over time rather than a disagreement, so we show when each one was written.
What sets it apart
- The most repeated point: nine posts said the crab is not salty, and none said it was. One regular put it down to a short cure, calling it mild rather than briny.
- Five posts covered parking, and all five mention valet service: pull up out front, leave the key in the car and tell the counter on the way out. One table parked in the rear lot themselves. No post mentioned paying for the valet.
- Five posts noticed foreign diners, mostly Chinese and Japanese, with one regular saying they are there every time.
- Five posts call the room large; one says it is a single ground-floor hall, and a Friday-evening visitor counted about ten occupied tables.
2 more
- Five posts are repeat visits: one writer reckons about seven meals, another came back after two months, another has been coming since the early 2010s.
- Two posts mention a hand-washing sink by the entrance, handy after picking crab.

Where it is

We could not find this shop’s own listing on Naver Map, so the link searches for its Korean name around this spot instead.

Only one post mentions floors, saying the restaurant is on the ground floor only. Nobody said whether there are steps at the door.
No post says anything about a step at the entrance or getting in with a wheelchair or stroller. That means we don't know, not that there is no problem.
We don't know whether the toilet is inside the restaurant; one diner only mentions washing hands there. The claim of separate men's and women's toilets comes from a TV-feature write-up and was not counted.
No one mentioned: Lift to the floor · Ramp at the door · Step at the entrance · Step-free access · Toilet inside · Accessible toilet · Separate restrooms. That is not the same as there being none — it means we could not confirm it. Worth calling ahead, and do tell us: we will put it here.

Posts that followed a TV spot
Of the 25 posts we gathered, 13 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know
- It's a long way from the subway. Two posts say it takes about 20 minutes on foot from exit 3 of Janghanpyeong station (Line 5). One gives a five-minute bus ride to the Hillstate Jangan Central stop; the other came by taxi.
- Only one post talks about waiting: no wait around noon on a Sunday, though the room was nearly full when they left. We don't know what other times are like.
- Seven posts list the same hours, open 24 hours with no closing days. But five of them copied an info box; only two wrote it from their own visit, and nobody reports going in the small hours.
- Of four posts that judged the price, two called it expensive, one found it cheaper than Gangnam crab houses, and one said it was pricey but worth it. The large platter appears at 90,000 won in a November 2025 post and 95,000 in August 2026. Two people having a large plus roe rice should expect around 100,000 won.
- The phone number is 02-2242-4338. Reservations are mentioned only in copied info boxes; no post describes booking ahead.
- Three posts went with friends, three with family (one with a child), and one as a couple.
- Heat depends on the dish: one post found the seafood braise spicy, another found the crab stew mild. On the soy dip, two posts mention green chilies in it, while one missed having hot peppers.
- One post was bothered by mosquitoes and a fly in the room; the staff did set the fan to oscillate when asked.
- Four posts recycling an October 10, 2025 TV feature and two Coupang-affiliate posts were not counted as visits. One of the repeat-visit posts is by someone who says he does business with the restaurant.
