Sotnaeeum's Gangnam Banpo branch is a rice-pot (sotbap) restaurant in the basement food hall of NC Outlet Gangnam, Building 1, between Express Bus Terminal and Banpo stations. It is one floor down. Seventeen posts place their meal in the basement food hall of NC Outlet Building 1, and several describe the way in as down the escalator and turning around or to the left. No one mentions using a lift.

No one writes about a step at the entrance or wheelchair access. One post saw many families with strollers, but that is not a confirmation — nobody checked.

No post says where the toilets are or whether they are separate for men and women.

Posts that followed a TV spot

Of the 30 posts we gathered, 3 went up on a single day right after a TV spot and show no sign of a visit. They retell the broadcast, so we left them out of the counts.

We do not discard them. That a TV spot produced a burst of posts is itself something worth knowing about a place, and a star rating will not show it.

What we do not know

Opinions on heat split: three posts found the mala pork, spicy octopus or spicy pork dishes hot, two said they weren't, and two didn't settle it.
Only one post says it waited: in March 2026, just after opening, the line was still going after 3 pm and the wait was about 30 minutes (20, later in the same post). One October post walked straight in; the rest only guess there might be a queue. Two booked through Naver, and three mention a waiting list and seats near the entrance.
Two posts say they walked from the station and found it an easy walk; directions like 'Exit 8-2, six minutes' are copied from listings.
Twenty posts list opening hours, all copied from listings: fourteen say 10:30–21:30, four say 10:00–21:30 (three explain the doors open at 10 but orders start at 10:30), one says 10:00–22:00 with last orders at 21:00, and one says closing at 21:00. Most agree on a 15:00–16:00 break and 20:50 last orders; one says there is no break on weekends and holidays. All say it is open every day of the year.
Prices have crept up: in May and July 2026 the tteokgalbi sotbap was 15,800 won, the limited set 21,800 won and the bulgogi cheese potato pancake 17,000 won; October posts give 15,900, 21,900 and 17,900 won. One post puts a meal at about 20,000 won a head. Three posts found it pricey, two found it cheap.

Only three disclose sponsorship. We did not rely on the hygiene grade, rice variety or reasons for limited sales — those are the shop's own claims.
